Hippies, R.A.Y., and Flake and Michelle all got off at the wrong station, and had to take a bus to the next station.

They still arrived before FranBerry and MoJo.

And Fran is about to lose it!

This is Siracusa, Italy.

Departure times;
E/J: 10:33 pm.
Clue: Travel 350 miles by train by ferry to Rome, Italy. There they will find famed Trevi Fountain and search for man with yellow and red scooter to receive their next clue.
BJ/Tyler; 10:38 pm
MoJo: 11:40 pm
Fran/Berry: 11:53 pm
E/J arrive at station, doesn't open until 4am, earliest train is 8am.
Lake/Michelle: depart 12:17 am
MoJo arrive at station, F/B arrive.
Ray/Yolanda: depart 1:02 am
L/M arrive at station. R/Y arrive at station.

All stations now travelling by Rome Italy. Train arrives, some teams look for taxis, some head for Metro.

MoJo find a taxi. BJ/T find Metro, L/M also, F/B. R/Y at Metro station. E/J in a taxi. E/J find scooter man at Trevi Fountain first. Clue: make way less than a mile for horse carriages near Spanish steps. Find portfolios and look for next clue. The clue relates to 'DaVinci Code'. Teams are given part of DaVinci's famous human drawing, must put the clues together to determine what to do. Mojo find clue second. BJ/Tyler are third. F/B fifth. F/B are following the other teams. r/Y in last place.
E/J find final clue, fly 655 miles to Athens, Greece. On grounds of Agora, teams will find next clue. (I've been to the Agora, it's cool.)

MoJo in second place. BJ/T in 3rd, L/M 4th, F/B 5th. R/Y finally find the Spanish steps, it's dusk.

E/J find at flight that departs at 7:25 pm. MoJo book flights. BJ/Tyler book flights. L/M check in, 7:25 is only flight. F/B check in and book tickets. R/Y check in. BUNCHING!!! All teams are on same flight. They get taxis to the Agora. (From personaly experience, the taxi drivers in Athens are SCARY. Scary fun, but scary.)

The Agora doesn't open until 8am, but trust me, there is plenty to do at the base of the Agora (in the Plaka) until the Agora opens. Lots of bazuki bars, shops, restaurants await you while you wait to climb the tiny stone steps up to the Agora.
And several places to purchase strong Greek coffee on your way up early in the morning.

Racing to the Agora looking for the clue box. Fast Forward. First of only two. Can use only once during the race. Travel on foot to nearby restaurant, break plates and find one red-and-yellow marker baked into one of hundreds of plates. MoJo heading to Plaka to break plates. (Oh, the memories!!!)

R/Y receive clue second. Travel by train 70 miles to Corinth, exit at Isthmus station to receive next clue.

E/J head for FF. BJ/T head out. F/B to try FF. L/M head to train station. BJ/T welcome R/Y on their bus. MoJo breaking plates. E/J arrive and start breaking pltes.

E/J find marker and receive clue. FF: drive yourself to next Pit Stop, the Fortress of Rion. F/B arrive at restaurant and discover FF has been taken. L/M arrive at train, BJ/T also.

MoJo working their way through the Plaka. Can't find a taxi.

MoJo trying to find their way to Corinth. (The Greeks speak 4 or 5 languages, including English). Mo is upset they are falling behind, Jo trying to comfort her. F/B arrive at train station. MoJo and F/B are on the train.

Corinth train station. They discover they need to get bus tickets to Isthmus, got off the train too early.

Bus arrives at Isthmus station. Clue: Roadblock: Who Wants To Hear The Sounds of Their Own Screams: walk out only bridge and bungee jump 240 feet into Corinth canal, to receive next clue. How weird is it that after all these weeks I don't know which hippie is which? R/Y arrive first, B/T 2nd, L/M 3rd. MoJo 4th, f/G 5th. They are all together.

Ray is bungee jumping for his team. (All the time I was in Greece, 3 weeks, it never rained, nothing but sunny skies. Weird.)

Ray completes and receives clue: Detour: Herculean Effort or It's All Greek To Me. HE: drive to stadium and complete 3 events from ancient Olympic games -- discus, javelin, wrestling. All greek - same stadium, search archeological site for 9 pieces of pottery with Greek letters, translate and put in order to spell out notation on map.

R/Y doing HE. BJ/T jumping. They will do HE. Love how they know to say 'Efkaristo' as thank you. Michelle is bungeeing for her team. They will do HE. Michelle bungee for team. Fran to bungee for her team, she's afraid, MoJo comfort her. MoJo will HE.

Fran to bungee. She's really nervous, it's raining, she won't stop off.

Fran finally bungees. They are in last place, will complete It's All Greek To Me.

L/M are still b!tching at each other. I want to strangle him. E/J have arrived at the Pit Stop. Phil greets them and they will walk down the red carpet at the world premiere of 'The DaVinci Code' in Hollywood.

R/Y arrive at stadium. Yolanda throws discus, Ray throwing javelin. BJ/T may be lost. L/M lost because the map is in Greek. MoJo arrive at stadium. Ray not great at throwing javenlin. Monica finally makes distance for discus. Jon must wait for Ray to complete javelin throw. Now he and Ray take turns.

F/B arrive at stadium. They are looking for pottery shards. They are picking up letters until they have 9 different ones then will see if they are right. L/M arrive at stadium but are at pottery shards instead of Olympic events, decide to do it instead. Find pieces quickly.

BJ/Tyler are an hour in the wrong direction.

Fran and Barry have just rear ended a tree! And broke their rear window in the process.

R.A.Y. have arrived 2nd, but received a 15 minute penalty for taking a taxi, not a train. They ended up after MoJo, in 3rd.

I think in the first episode he said there would be 8 elimination pitstops. I don't think they ever tell us how many non-elims there are, but we also had that superleg, which technically counts as a non-elim I suppose.

I have a feeling we could have a second superleg this season.

Yes, but I believe Lake & Michelle were the third team, so they would've had a 15 minute penalty too.

They got back on the train. Michelle emphasized to Lake that the clue said, "Take the train to . . .," so she made him get back on the train. They would not have been penalized.

ETA: The train and the bus ended up arriving at the same time.

By about a minute, Lake and Michelle have been eliminated.

BJ/Tyler also got the 15-minute penalty, and started hearing them coming with the clock winding down.....

BJ/Tyler are 5th and will start the next leg in last place....

and all those who bet on the Hippies are NOT happy....

Now that I think about it......

Lake and Michelle ALSO would have recieved that 15-minute penalty.... They were with BJ/Tyler and FranBarry on the train that stopped too early for them.....

It might be a 15-minute penalty, this time, because they LOST 15 minutes taking the bus instead of the train which netted out of the usual 30-minute mis-reading of clue penalty.....

BJ/Tyler 2 hours behind other teams. Jon gets javelin throw, Ray still having trouble. F/B working on translating their pottery shards. L/M also there.

MoJo now on wrestling part of task, both trying to wrestle the guy out of the circle, Jon takes him out. Drive yourself 107 miles to next Pit Stop to Fortress of Rion. They are in 2nd place.

Ray finally completes his javelin task, R/Y on to wrestling. Together they take the wrestler out of the circle and they are on their way to the Pit Stop.

F/B working on their word, as are L/M. F/B decode their word first and receive clue to head to pit stop. L/M also decode and head out, slightly ahead of F/B. Barry backs into a tree and breaks out the back window of his vehicle. !!! WTF !!!

BJ/Tyler arrive arena and are doing HE. L/M may be heading in wrong direction. BJ/T complete discus and javelin, complete wrestling amidst much laughter by Greek representatives.

R/Y arrive in 2nd place. However they receive penalty for not following clue correctly -- they did not travel to Isthmus station by train, 15 minute penalty. MoJo arrive at Fortress, told they are in 2nd place. Shortly after, Phil checks R/Y in as 3rd place.

L/M totally lost. BJ/T driving in total darkness. F/B arrrive, told they are in 4th place. BJ/Tyler arrive, expecting to be eliminated, told they are in 5th place, receive 15 minute penalty for not taking train to Isthmus station. L/M arrive at fortress, BJ/Tyler's penalty expires before L/M make it to the at, they both kiss Phil. L/M arrive at mat in last place, they are eliminated.

According to the previews, BJ and Tyler look like they are in last (roadblock segment) but it will be non-elimination - they will make a team beg for money in a poor country (Oman).

As much as I'd hoped for it every episode, having the dentist "Fillingminated" this time was a complete surprise to me.
I'm happy though. Surprised, but very happy. we need a 'toothy smile from ear to ear' icon.

I'm not in the Casino Game but OMG I said to the tv when BJ&Tyler were 2 hours behind "Oh NO you're NOT, you have to CATCH UP!!" The minute the show was over my phone rang-a friend who got hooked on the show this season called to freak out with me
