"Red chairs and other questionable clues"

LAST EDITED ON 10-17-02 AT 02:33 PM (EST)

Does someone notice that there's more to this show other than the 13 clues we're supposed to be looking for. The producers have done such a meticulous and wonderful job layering out more clues than what we're supposed to. Some are even repetitive between episodes, so i can't say that it's just coincidence.

.............................................

THE INFAMOUS RED CHAIRS : I pretty much figured this one out. Anyone who sits in a red chair is evil. The three suits, sloman, Silas...

NAKED STATUES (look harder) : Any place where Silas has been is marked with these figures. The versailles, his estate, Slomans.

"This heat can Kill a man in four hours" : there's something up with this quote, and it pops up again and again and again...

SUNDOWN: Too many people arrange meetings by sundown. Silas and Jim, Mary and sloman...

AQUA convertable appears in front of Martha's and Job's place. The two could be connected.

"WATERMARK OWNS the WORLD": Someone mentioned this topic a while back and Ironically, Episode 5 shows that. there's a lot of referrences about going on a "vacation" and also there are images/quotes about the world

+ Sunny dupree travels the globe
+ "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth"
+ The nameless competitor's plane has a world map
+ shadrack's scupture has a globe

"GREED": It's not just episode 5. The word greed is heard in every episode.

MONKEYS: a strange clue. A furious Silas calls repeats "monkey" over and over after Jim's message. THere are stuffed monkey's in Sila's house. In shadrack's scupture, there's a monkey above the bible. Could the monkey represent silas?

TELEPHONE POLES: Dammit, they're EVERYWHERE!

.........................................

Smaller clues:

The nodding chuahua: Episode 1 has the nodding Chuahua on the Trucker's dashboard. It disappears later.

the tatooed killer: meets mary at slomans in episode 1. What's it's meaning?

3: Episode 5 has this number on the sidewalk of little Jim's house

A blue picture of a girl is inserted into episode 4's Push nevada intro.

"you can't run from the truth, becuase the truth is in front of you". WHen jim says that, there are only two things that are in front of him: mary, and the sun.

San fernando valley real estate: huh?

I did the summary for ep.3 and so really paid attention to that one, they showed images of the sun numerous times. It means something. Also, have you ever checked out the PushTimes? The weather report every day is hot, sunny and over 100 degrees. Okay, I'm gonna get weird here, but maybe the Sun is not really the Sun. These people act like robotic aliens, not real people. Maybe the "Sun" is watching them?

Remember episode three "The color of..." Fire appeared numerous times. Jim kept seeing flashbacks of fire then Silas and Caleb were both cremated. I have seen people speculate that the clue for this episode could be red or orange but aren't these the colors of fire which is what the sun essentially is? I like to hear other thoughts on this idea.
