A midget ( or little person) is dressed like the Mad Hatter, and spewing quotes that probably will be used for the HoH competition, or clues to what's to come....

Here are the proverbs recited from the visitor in the house today. What are your thoughts?

"A st(n)itch in time saves nine" -Unknown

"O What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive" -Sir Walter Scott

"Fish and visitors stink after three days"- Ben Franklin

"Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead" - Ben Franklin

"There is no little enemy" - Abraham Lincoln

And the time is 12:36:47....

I've seen a lot of people discussing it as: A snitch in time saves nine. This is not correct. The phrase is: A STITCH in time saves nine, and means, If you stitch a hole/tear/seam in a garment in time, you save nine stitches later. It means take care of problems early, or they only get worse.

Well, then, you'll have to talk to the little guy, as he definitely said both stitch and snitch.

They only showed the 'stitch in time...' line on TV last night. could it have been due to the livefeed sound being terrible that people thought he also said snitch? My reason for thinking this is that he was spouting WELL known sayings and I have never heard of ' a snitch in time will save nine' before.
