I'm a loser, but isn't that what this place is for? The Help Forum, I mean, not SB

I am going to be doing an American Idol PTTE with SurvivorScott and I did a draft in WordPerfect. Two questions:

Is there a way to copy it from WP to here? If not I'll just re-do it, but then comes question 2, can I save a draft?

Is it WP for Windows or the god-awful WP for DOS that I spend an overly large amount of time using because the Federal Government and the court system insist on remaining 15 years behind the times?

First save it to your computer.
Highlight the words you want to put on SB. COPY and paste on your thread.

I think that's all you have to do unless I'm not understanding your question.

Gotta go with the hamster here. C&P from WP to SB. No way to save a draft, as far as I know.

Spidey, I don't use WP, but in MS Word you can highlight and copy the text then paste it in your message-I've done it with my stories before. You should be able to do the same with WP.

Not sure about saving drafts, but can you use the "save as" to save it as a document instead of a draft?

When I try to paste the text into this space, I get an error in WP (for Windows) that says "Unsupported File Format Detected."

Maybe I can convert it to Word, which I also have, and try again.

I would paste in the "You suck at the internet" pic, but I suck too much!!!

Yeah yeah, save it as a Word document, then open it in Word and cut and paste. Should work.

save it as ASCII DOS Text...

This will get rid of any formatting codes etc. Then just open this new file in notepad... cut and paste to the posting window.

Not sure about the DOS version of WP, but if you also have word on your computer, try and save as and when you title it put.doc this will tell your computer that it is a word file.
