OK, I know I am not the only one who doesn't know what all of the acronyms mean around here (right Bucky?). Could someone please let me in on all of the inside acronyms used on SB? I have figured out a few, like LOL (laugh out loud) and even OMH (oh my heck). But I've seen a bunch around that I don't have a clue about. Please help! If you can think of any other "inside" type things that go on around here that you can let me in on I would appreciate that also. Thanks y'all!!

(and is often meant to convey that you shouldn't take it too seriously when that is exactly what you should do) (G)

The only place I could find TVM used is in this post by steven where it seemed to have something to do with the Hong Kong subway system. You might ask him.

I can't find any reference to TWF here or on the web so I'm clearly out of my element there. Good luck.

Oh, I hate Web acronyms, even though I use them. A few comments:

1) steven's use of TVM was short for "TV Monitor" and is not related to the common Web acronym for "Thanks Very Much".

2) We used OMG (Oh My God) a lot because Jerri and Amber said it constantly during S2. It was mostly replaced with OMH (which you know) thanks to Neleh during S4.

3) And then, of course, there is the SAC (Silas Asinine Comment) Tracker, invented by dangerkitty, which was originally a derivative of shakes' OMG Counter but which has inspired a number of other "counting" devices.

4) One that I use a lot in summaries (and that is relatively easy to decipher) is WTF?, meaning "What the F--k?"
