Just curious, is there a board setting to keep/store sent PM's as well as the ones received?

Doubt it, would be pointless to keep those on the server if no one can either access or delete them.

I wanted to find 'sent' messages myself at one time.

I like it when the person sending me reply leaves my message in the reply & tacks onto the top of it.

Me either. I still have all of them, although I don't have all that many either considering that I don't PM very often.

Yeah, I send the original text along with my reply. It'll show up with those <'s before each line.

Sometimes, though, I forget exactly what I sent and have to wait for a reply (hopefully with my original text in it!).
