I know at least one other poster, who is also running WIN 95 (yeah, I know, I know...But there are still bugs in the newer stuff and I'm cheap, okay?) that is having problems connecting to the Big Brother Forum on here.

I get the nice new header and then it sits. And sits. And sits. Maybeeeeee, maybeeeee, it will finally load and show me the topics. But that's it. Only once in at least 30 tries, have I actually connected, read one topic, attempted to post to it and then it froze up again. forever. Until I had to shut down the computer and re-boot, vowing never, ever again to re-visit that black hell hole of nothingness, only to be sucked in once again, to have the same thing happen. Over and over.

There is finally a new show that Shakes is interested in and I can't even read his scathing remarks, knowing full well that I'm missing the best and brightest on the board.

I've became so frustrated that I applied for, and yes, fools that they may be, have even been accepted to that "other board" as well as The Club House site. That is how low I have sank, Brother and Sister Blowers!

Any suggestions? I could trap a few more squirrels in the backyard and upgarde the speed, I suppose, but why only this site? Are all those fancy new graphics causing such disruptions to my non-life?

that's interesting, becuz I go to thise BB sites all the time and have never experienced this problem.

Sky, what version of what web browser are you using?

Can you load non-message board BBB.com web pages?

I'm using the old 4.5 Netscape, (I think, may be more current than that), I downloaded 6.0 and it latched itself on to everything I had, so I discontinued using it and went back to the tried and true.

I'm not quite sure what the "non-message BBB web pages" means. I can get the header to the BBB pges, but the rest of it doesn't fill in most of the time. When it does, then if I click on a topic, that's it. The thing just sits and dies and I have to re-boot to computer to do anything.

I'm sure that it's in my software somewhere, since everyone else seems to be using it okay, other than one person that I know who is also running the old WIN95 still.

He means, can you load the main Bigbrotherbites.com site (not the boards, just the main site and the contestant profiles, episode summaries, etc.)

I was finally able to get on the main page of BBB and then to the topics pages, and actually made one post. Then it all froze up again. It's just not worth the hassle to do that over and over.
