whenever I click on the "Live Chat" link, the page loads, but only partially.

I cannot read the chat or participate in any way. The frame is there, but the actually chat area does not load.

Any suggestions or solutions?

You must have a JAVA-enabled browser to use chat.

Check your internet options to ensure that JAVA in enabled in your preferences.

If you are using the most recent version of Internet Explorer or if you are accessing the page using Internet Explorer from the Windows XP platform, JAVA may not be installed on your system. You can download JAVA at http://www.sun.com or you can try accessing chat using any version of Netscape.

Microsoft has decided that they will no longer support JAVA by default in the newer versions of Internet Explorer, and as such, it makes it a hassle if you use IE to access chat.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...thanks. but Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...there are like 30,000 little blue linkie things to click on there....mind being a little more specific??? I just got a new puter..of course it's XP...didn't get the MAC cuZZ I didn't feel a need to learn a new language and all...and then I go to a page with 30,000 blue linkie thingies on there...OH!!! and another thing...I will have you know that I was just FORCED to make my 1,499th post on SB in the HELP forum for godZZ sake...I have been savoring these, Dagummit *sigh*

Well... in the lower right corner of the screen, there's an image that says "Click here to download JAVA for Windows XP, now."

But... here's the link directly to the download page... hope it helps:

Thanks for the extra info Dabo. I promise that I DID try a search of the help forum for live chat before posting my new thread. It came up 'live chat not found' 3 different times, but I think I just searched for the past year - my bad. When I try to search the whole thing, it does funny things!
