I did a search on "red flag thingy" but nothing came up here.

Exactley what is the "red flag thingy" that some folks refer to? I suspect it has something to do with personal messages.

When you get a new personal message in some parts of the board there is an announcement of this fact with a little red waving flag next to it. (like the lobby or one of the outer shells, not in one of the forums or in a thread)

Thanks for this.

I just took a look and lo and behold I had replies to a couple of e-mails I had sent.

The fact my shortcut goes directly to the Survivor boards would explain why I haven't seen these.

Shall I have Newbie tatooed on my forehead now?
