"PM'ing banned posters..."

Without stirring up a hornet's nest, can one still pm/email a banned poster through the RWTV boards?
Or would one need their actual e-mail address?

NO disrespect intended.
I just simply do not know....

First, go to the Profiles page and see if the profile screenname of the person you wish to communicate with is still there.

If it's not there, you're out of luck.

If their profile is there, PM (send_message) won't be useful, as they need to log in to catch their messages. If their e-mail (email_user) is not disabled within their profile, then you should still be able to send e-mail. To email_user to that person, you might need to go to an older unlocked thread so that you can click on the email_user option for that person. However, they won't be able to reply in reverse, because they would need to log in to do so. Rather, you could give them your e-mail address within your message so that they can reply to you. Finally, their profile might have information, such as their ICQ ID number or their web/blog page address, through which you can communicate with them.

Failing all that, you can PM a known friend of both of you and perhaps obtain their e-mail address this way.

Give it a try, and perhaps you'll answer your own question. Good luck!
