"Abnormally wide format today on my posted messages"

Posted by Ra_8secs on 11-28-03 at 09:26 PM
I went to post a message this evening, and for some reason the width of the text in the preview box was not the normal size. It was at some sort of maximum where I had to use the horizontal scroll bar to move right to see everything.

I backed out of the new thread I was trying to create, and went to a thread of mine from earlier -- OFFICAL SUMMARY EPISODE 7.2 (i.e., 7B), and added a reply post. Same super-wide width happened again. And even curiouser, every message in the thread displayed in the extra-wide format as well. Other threads that I view are still normal looking.

What's up? How can I change back to normal viewing?

PS
Other issues that I've ignored for a while:

I've never been able to get into my Profile, either. (I saw a thread on that issue a moment ago.)

I can't upload graphics anymore either, getting a "must specific file type" error message.

I'm running XP. When I was using my Win2000 machine, the uploads worked fine, but still no profile editing capability.

Any suggestions?

Hah and curses!

The previous message looked normal!

I figured it out.

The problem was an extraordinarily long word (typed that way for effect). When I broke it up with hyphens, things posted fine.

Oh and if it isn't too much trouble, could you fix or edit the "test" post you made on Off Topic?
You messed up the entire thread.
I know it wasn't intentional, but using an OT thread for a Survivor message wasn't really cool.

Thanks Ra.
