I understand how to place a link, by typing out the URL: http:// . . .

What I don't understand is how to edit it.

I've seen links called: "Read this Article," Criminals from the Neck Up," "Stop Discrimination Now," etc.

What I can't figure out is how do you make the transition from http://www.blank.com/, to turn these links into regular words?

Any suggestions?

Please note: The url (link) must have the http:// part removed, or it will not work.

...hey eee, maybe I'm a little bit stupider tham most, but how do you make that little vertical line between the "com" and the "I found" part....I don't see that thing anywhere on my keyboard and I'd really like to know cause now that I've mastered bold and itallics I'm ready to take the next step and learn how to do links properly.

Right beside the backspace key.

How does one post a link from SB without http://?

I know how to post a link without it for other web pages, but SBlows DCForum, doesn't have the www. in it.

You just start the link from community.realitytvworld.... (erase the http and don't put in a www)

One last suggestion, although this specific question has already been answered: any time you want to know how to do something that's been done in someone else's post, click "Reply With Quote." The entire post that has the cool stuff in it will be displayed in the message field of your reply, including the code that was used to generate the cool stuff. Copy and paste what you want for later use. Ta-dah! And then, of course, just back out of the Reply page (unless you genuinely want to reply).
