I don't know if you have seen last week's copy of Sports Illustrated, but they have a lovely article about your friend Mari-Rae Sopper. With 2 boys at my house, we obviously have a subscription to this wonderful magazine. I knew that last week's issue contained mostly articles relating to the attacks, but honestly had not had a chance to look at it myself until today. (Can you understand why I would be the last to look at it? Hint: 2 boys) I wanted to let you know, because I felt like this was something you might want to have. If you want a copy and cannot get your hands on one, I will be more than willing to donate my copy to you. I realize how special this issue is, but I also realize how much more special it may be to you than to me. Just let me know.

No thanks necessary, Dave. Just couldn't help thinking of you as I read the article. I feel so lucky to be able to say I didn't know any of the victims, yet everything I read makes me realize that they were all family. I only wish there were more I could do.
