The author of the emails on this site is a woman named Lori, she is the daughter of one of my mother's friends. She has been working at the pentagon site, and needed a way to deal with how she was feeling, so she sent emails to friends and family, which have been passed on and on. Her emails have been very informative about what is going on, and provides those of us far from the "battlefield" with a more personal perspective. I had the pleasure of chatting with Lori online early this morning. She is tired, but the emails and support she is receiving from people have been a great encouragement to her.
