Mary & Peach earned elimination last night. Mary had the clue and rather than read it for the correct building she insisted on asking for the wrong one. Then they get there and don't even bother to look for the green star. Instead hit the street and ask Chinese people who don't speak English what the clue means. Oh that was helpful. And Peach, what a wuss! I can't go on, I can't drink this I am going to puke. She was gonna puke, she was making me sick. The seemed like they wanted to be bumped.

They absolutely did, Peach outdid herself in last night's episode. She always insisted that she came on this race to prove to her sister that she was tough, way to go Peach, you only proved Mary right, you ARE a wuss !!!!

Actually not going back up to look for the green star was the right move. It saved them lots of time I suspect. Basically it was one mistake that lead to them making even more mistakes. If they had not gone for the FF, they might have pulled it out...

I'm not sure it was the right move, sinceit seems to flount the rules. In the past, those who did not follow the clues closely were given time penalties. They could hardly afford a penalty. On the other hand, there was not much to lose at that point.

If they had not finished in last, they certainly would have received a penalty for not using the binoculars to view the green star first.

Didn't they lose the directions to the building? I think that is why Mary kept asking for the wrong building she remembered something with Center in it, but just couldn't remember the whole name.

I think you are right. I assumed they lost (or had it swiped) the clue along with the maps. Which still means that they earned it (keep the clue in a safe place!!!!!)

Bottom line they messed up when they lost the clue and map. Nobody else had anything happen to help then out time wise like a bus breakdown, stalled taxi. Look at it this way Chex made the same type of critical error in judgemnt back in Namibia. THe only reason they weren't eliminated was they fact the twims got stuck in the sand.
