It would be nice if all the episodes aired after survivor. Perfect switch from one great show to another! Wed night would rock.

Just once for the premiere episode, from what I know. It seems to be a bit of a trend these days to piggyback on a popular show for the premiere and then move to its own night -- "Better Call Saul" did that on Sunday, airing its series premiere right after the midseason premiere of "The Walking Dead" on Sunday, then the next night was the regular Monday airing of "Better Call Saul."

I'll have to wait and see about this season. this gimmick feels very "jump the shark" to me.

I think all these shows, once they been around for awhile, find they need to do something new to keep the audience interested. Unfortunately, sometimes it turns out to be a mistake.

I see where you are coming from, on the other-hand if they picked the right people we will see some interesting interactions.I just hope they all realize that no matter what, this still is a race that can take you anywhere legal and do anything that is legal. Some racers even after all this time still enter the race thinking they can win on just their good looks, muscles, or brains.
Using all of those in combination (and good looks will not help once you are down to 6 or less teams) are needed to win. Depending only one feature is a sure way to lose.
And then there is the LUCK/TAXI factor that can turn the best team to losers and the worse team to winners.

First day they start off from a location just 10 minutes from my house. Last season it was 5 minutes from my house. Maybe next season, the starting point will be from my backyard.
