It seems this is a show that has been kept around for the critical acclaim as opposed to a ratings versus cost of production analysis. Now that some cooking show has taken away the Emmy, is this the beginning of the end for TAR?

Naaa...
I see it not winning the Emmy as the voters saying, "Uh..guys...you've won this award like a hundred and elventy three times in a row...time for someone else"...not "Uh, your show sucks now."

Not necessarily. A great cast can always help TAR out. Also, the voters might've just decided to give the Emmy to some other show this year because they felt TAR had enough Emmys.
