LAST EDITED ON 03-18-10 AT 02:08 PM (EST) Hi Kyree.
Try some web searches for Morse code.
Not sure if you'll find any that you can actually hear, but I'd be surprised if you don't.
Well, see there
the Link Queen beat me to it!
she's good; really good
>Seriously, what did
>they hear with their headsets?
> What does a dot
>or even 3 dots sound
>like? blip blip blip?
> Then pause...what does a
>pause sound like? This may be a bit oversimplified, but lets' look at the word hello. Here are the morse code translations for h, e, l, and o
H = * * * *
E = *
L = * - * *
O = - - -
So, in morse code, you'd hear "beep beep beep beep (pause) beep (pause) beep beeeeeeeeep beep beep (pause) beep beeeeeeep beep beep (pause) beeeeeeep beeeeeep beeeeeep beeeep"
In other words, a dot is a short tone, and a dash is a long tone.
