One-half of the original "Grandparents/Senior Citizen" team passed on October 26th, due to the effects of a 3-year battle with both cancer and pulmonary fibrosis. She was 67, and is survived by her husband/Race partner David, 3 daughters, son, 9 grandchildren, and 2 sisters.
David and Margaretta were the 4th team eliminated in the original season's Race.

Just about the saddest thing I've heard in a long time, thoughts and prayers go out to the family! I loved her on TAR! I remember she used to call her husband Davey and I was really upset when they went for the FF in the first leg and didn't get it.
She seemed like a genuinely sweet and kind person. RIP
