Steve and Dave Fly Out Of The Race

Well, looks like the cat only had 5 lives. Man did they use them all. At least they were fighters and didn't give up. Unfortunately, when money is involved, tortoises don't win the race. Our tortoises, BFGs, Steve/Dave was the team to go last night. If only they had gone a week earlier!!!

This week was definitely not a slaughter fest. Although we did lose four more players. Say bye to ulalame, tribephyl, Coconut, & cyclehausen who all kept Steve/Dave on their safe list.

We had a great top score for the week. In fact, he blew everyone out of the water with his score. mikey scored +14 for the night for his picks and for getting the FF, Bonus, and of course the title correct.

Our bickering couple for this week Millie/Chuck went for the FF and got it this week. The only one who also spun around on the windmill with Millie and Chuck was mikey who also got the FF answer correct. Because of the FF, Millie/Chuck were also the answer to the bonus question of who would make it to the pitstop first. Also there first were mikey, Spidey, & laureli.

Our top 3 stayed the same this week. Looks like Spidey(36) is the girl to beat. In 2nd place and holding his own is Packman(30). Right behind him though and on his tails is newcomer PlumBlossom(29) who is only one point away. These three were the same top three last week. Will they go for a run????

Still holding firm at the bottom is solely magic_star. This makes two weeks of cellar dwelling, but hey, he is still in the game.

As for the title, I would like to thank CBS once again ruining my title question game. Of course, everyone who saw the previews knew that Tian/Jaree said the quote for this week. Because of CBS's meddling, the title question will have to take a small break until CBS quits ruining my extra point attempt. It will be replaced by the Who will make it first to the Pit-Stop?" question. I will use this until CBS quits stepping on my title question. So for this week, who will make it to the pitstop first? Get this correct for the usual +3, get it wrong and there is no penalty.
