Wow! What an amazing week we had, and it's only week 1! This season looks like it will be an exicting one! Just a reminder that it's not too late to play this season's PTTE! The first week is always the hardest, but congratulations go out to: Spidey, MINITROLL, Breezy,
PepelePew13 (with some help from Pene) I_AM_HE, SurvivorScott, Survivor Maniac, Greeneyes,WHaTTHeMoLe, Shannomac and tribephyl
all who correctly guessed that Debra/Steve would go first, and all who have 0 points. Last season's defending champ,Katem is in a tie for second place, with one point. Bringing up the tail end of the pack are: Keae, Femme and MTW1961 with 7, 8 and 9 points respectively. I also want to say a BIG THANK YOU to, GTMIKE for letting me host this game and for answering all of my questions!

Here are a few reminders about the point system:
For example: If episode 1 of AR3 had just aired, and you thought that the Soccer Mom team, Gina/Slyvia were going to the be the 5th team to be eliminated, you would receive 4 points for the week (they were the 1st team eliminated, you thought they would be the 5th team eliminated: 5-1=4)

1) You will be given 4 points every time you change your PTTE after the first episode has aired... but it's only 4 points, so change it if you think it will help you out.

2) If you do not enter before the first episode, you will start with a score equivalent to 8 points per episode you missed. That means that it's possible to join the game after several episodes but you have better chance of getting a good score if you enter early.

I was so excited to see the results for the first round. Because I also had Debra and Steve as my first eliminated.
All the winners were in orange colors , and I so like orange.
Alas, I was not included on that list. I am wondering why?

Looks like it was just an typo -- with 53 participants, it's easy to miss a name (I did the same thing over on the DAW race on OT). I checked your list and it looks fine and you did pick Debra/Steve.

I am so, so, so sorry to have left you off the list! I just moved from Vermont back to Ohio and switched computers, so somewhere along the way your name got missed. It won't happen again! I changed the scoring to include your name-you didn't do anything wrong, it was all me. Thanks Pepe for double checking her picks for me!

I have never watched this show, and I never will. But dammit I'm gonna WIN a PTTE one of these days! So without any knowledge of the game, armed only with a contestant list and the limited power of the human brain to create psuedo-random sequences, here is my entry:

Question. I had Kelly and Jon to go last week. If I DON'T CHANGE my picks, that means I think they will go this week, right? I had Steve and Dave to go second on last week's list, so if I DONT CHANGE, will I be "voting" for Steve and Dave, or Kelly and Jon?

I never can figure these things out. I have no strategy.

If you don't change, dear, what happened to me in the AI PTTE may happen to you - I was doing all right, picking up a point or two a week. But I had Ruben slated to go 5th. So when Ruben won, BAM! I got charged 8 points.

So, when you have someone in first and they immediately get booted (which seems to be your trademark), the damage is basically done. However, if you have someone going early and they stick around, THEN a change may be wise, as a huge fine may be coming.

Do you see? It's like investing in the future of PTTE - the future of the chill'ren!
