Well TAR fans, another season is upon us. Can you feel the excitement in the air? Can you hear Phil's intro already? ("Two teams of two...") We have a whole new season to spoil, bash, and strut your stuff in everyone's favorite game: PTTE. What's a PTTE? Well, PTTE means "Picks To The End"
Here's the goal:
Post your prediction about the ENTIRE elimination order for the season. Starting with the first team to be eliminated and ending with the winner. Please put WINNER next to the team that you think will win. Also, put down entire team names to start. We don't know the teams well enough yet to just put nicknames, so for your first entry, just put their names.
This doesn't need to have any analysis, although you're welcome to throw anything in that you want.
With any spoiler information available to you, coupled with your own intuition, see how well you can do.
The poll will close at 7:00pm EST on the day the show airs,and all votes made after that will have a point penalty... the earlier you enter, the more points you can earn, so enter early!!!
Scoring:
Here's the way that the scoring will work:
1) You do NOTwant points... they're bad... it's like golf. Every point counts against you in the standings, so try to avoid them.
2) Points will be awarded to every contestant in the game after each episode of Amazing Race 4. They will be awarded as the difference between where you thought this week's eliminee would finish and where the eliminee actually finished. If it is a non-elimination episode, then no points will be scored for that week.
For example: If episode 1 of AR3 had just aired, and you thought that the Soccer Mom team, Gina/Slyvia were going to the be the 5th team to be eliminated, you would receive 4 points for the week (they were the 1st team eliminated, you thought they would be the 5th team eliminated: 5-1=4)
3) You will be given 4 points every time you change your PTTE after the first episode has aired... but it's only 4 points, so change it if you think it will help you out.
4) If you do not enter before the first episode, you will start with a score equivalent to 8 points per episode you missed. That means that it's possible to join the game after several episodes but you have better chance of getting a good score if you enter early.
5)You will not be penalized for any changes made before the first episode airs. The four point penalties will come into play after the first episode has started. Basically you have until Wednesday 9p.m. (Oct. 2) to change without a point penalty.
Housekeeping Procedures:
1) A point total will be posted by me shortly after each episode. I will try to get these up as soon as I can.
2) After the first show has aired please do not edit your post to make changes. Just start a new post if you want to change your PTTE.
Will KATEM reclaim his title this season? Or will MANAGERR reclaim his title from the previous season? Or will Magic_Star move up from his third spot placement last season and overtake them both? Or will we have a new champion? Will it be a high scorer from last season? Bebo, Railfan GeorgiaBelle, GTMike and TeamJoisey all were close behind our leaders. Will I maintain my red ink status?

Just a little side note...
In TAR 2, they would always announce Cyndi's name before Russell's. In this TAR, they list Russell's before Cindy. Just something I figured out, and I felt a little proud about it.Just a useless fact.

What is with the mouth on Amanda? Every other word is bleeped out. I hate when they put people like that on TV. I think she's out of her element...she's more suitable for the Jerry Springer show.
