Erika: OMG!Cut to night 13 and a thunder and rain storm and see Erika sitting in the sand by the fire, no shelter getting wet.
Next AM at day 14: She has the confessional about I face my biggest fears, even the hardest day on S is still a dream come true, she can survive by herself...I am the most authentic version of myself, first chapter in this new book, realize the depths of my strength, now have decision allows me to hit a hard reset, whatever I do there will be people upset with me, trust that whatever I do will be the best route for me

I hate to say it but I find Erika to be a boring player, not much animation to her....and she seems like kind of a sad sack. I can't wait to see her play like a lion now....She smashed it and changed history....history is changed drop your buffs, no longer guaranteed a spot in this new merge tribe.

That helicopter shot scene of Erika on top of the mountain reminded me of the shot of Earl Cole on top of the mountain in Survivor Fiji...
I liked Erika alone on Exile Island. Not sure how she managed to keep her fire lit but good for her if it wasn't fixed.So Nasseer has immunity, Danny and Deshawn have an alliance to help them stay safe and Ricard has immunity. Seems like only Evvie and Stacy are in danger and while Evvie has some people to stick up for her, who will come to Stacy's aid? It looks like the easy vote.
Darn! I thought I had predicted Sydney's win correctly but I was worried that Ricard might beat her. So close but so so far...

Yes, since the cat is out of the bag and he wanted to give it to Evvie anyway, Xander can pull it off by giving his idol before TC... If it comes down like that, Shan will regret talking too much.
I am rooting for Xander so far....he's loyal. Dumb, perhaps, but loyal. Willing to give up his idol for Evvie when we all know she wouldn't have done the same for him. I am rooting for the Yase 3 at this point. Underdogs all of them.

Liana has to make sure that Xander has it and hasn't given it to Evvie. Xander and Liana talk...Liana asks, are you going to play it for her? Yes, I will save it for the TC.
Evvie in conf: Liana is shady. At th is point my only hope is Xander 's idol, life or death for me tonight
Liana says they want to get Deshawn out. we are all voting for Evvie, so if she plays an idol, I'm going home tonight.

Shan says this season has come with so many advantages, don't know what is in their arsenal,
Deshawn: comes down to relationships who do I trust? He says based his game on social relationships. Not complaining but I wish there is more value in what I brought to the game.
Evvie is very nervous, I have my jungle little bro over here and I am pretty sure I will be okay...see Xander pull out the hidden Immunity idol...it's a burden at this point and I am happy to give it away....
Liana says you can see a strong relationship by someone playing their idol.

I think Xander said he gave his Idol and extra vote to Tiffany because if he gave it to Evvie, Liana might have asked her for it.
Nice play by Xander. Rarely has a fake idol gained so much power, neutralizing an advantage. All that talk means only one thing: Bye Bye Sydney.

Xander: Idol, extra voteWhile the Yase three are the underdogs vs seemingly everyone else, I am hoping that the threat of the idol will keep them safe for a bit, but let's face it, it will be 8 vs 3, so they can effectively split the votes and be okay. I think one of the Yase three may be toast next week, unless another beware advantage shows up, and that's not out of the question in this season!

Assuming Tiffany gives them back!Last night it was basically 9(8+ExtraVote) vs 4.
Only two ways for the 4 to have survived.
1) Sydney Wins the Shot In The Dark plus use Xander's Idol on Evvie then Deshawn gets voted out with only 3 Votes
2) Sydney Votes for Deshawn, Xander's Extra Vote for Deshawn, Xander's Idol for Sydney then Deshawn gets voted out 5 for Deshawn and 4 for Evvie.
Neither of those options were likely to happen so the 4 were going to lose Sydney or Evvie and decided better to lose Sydney and keep Xander's Idol and Extra Vote and hope they get more Advantages or Idols!
