In the NTOS preview we see the Edge of Extinction Return Challenge (Note: 8 Stations so *NOT* an Individual Immunity Challenge)
This appears to be almost the exact same First Edge of Extinction Return Challenge from the original Edge of Extinction season.
Race through a series of obstacles
Climb down over Cargo Net to untie Bag of Bamboo Sticks
Untie Knots on Rope Gate
Tie Bamboo Sticks together to reach Key through Cage
Unlock Cage Door with Key
Maneuver Ball on Round Beam with Two Ropes up a Snake to a Hole in its Head
Note: This challenge was edited to look like Aubry, Big Wendy and Chris were close to winning.
However if you look carefully there were TWO Balls you had to complete. When Rick Devens wins you can clearly see his first Ball in the Rails behind the Snake's Head.
The Disadvantage Keith won he used to make Chris untie 30 Knots after opening the Cage Gate and before starting on the Snake Ball "maze".
Not sure what the 3 Advantages would be. Maybe something like...
Less or No Knots on the Rope Gate
Key placed closer to the Cage
Only have to complete 1 Ball instead of 2 Balls

Jeff: Hey Survivor fans. Jeff Probst back with another recap. Winners At War. It's our seventh episode. Let's get into it.
Sandra retires from Survivor. Nobody thought for a minute that Sandra was going to stick it out on Edge of Extinction for one big reason. We named the sit out bench after her. She doesn't participate in challenges. That was never her strong suit. And she knows there's going to be this big epic challenge to get back into the game. She doesn't have a shot. She's right.
Sandra: I'm not very good at the challenges. Everybody knows that. So I feel that I would be wasting my time just for an opportunity to go back into the game which I'm not going to succeed at. I got voted out and now it's time for me to go.
Jeff: I thought it was a great way to go out. It doesn't diminish her career to me at all that she raised the mast and took the boat home.
Sandra: I've gained a lot because of Survivor. It has changed my life. It's given me opportunities that I might not have otherwise had. I'm happy to go into retirement and know that I did the best I could with what I had.
Jeff: I gotta say. From a producer point of view. Sandra, when we called her to ask her over the years if she wanted to play again. Before we could even get the sentence out she would say "YES JEFF! I'm in whatever you want!" That is what you look for. That is why Sandra will always be the Queen because in addition to being a Great Player and a really good sport, and doing Island of the Idols for 36 Days living out on that island without a chance to win the million dollars. She's also just somebody that said Yes without even knowing what it was. Say goodbye to a Legend.
Sandra: At the end of the day I'm still the Queen and I'll always stay the Queen.
Jeff: Let's talk about Edge of Extinction. This was maybe my second favorite moment this season because it was so simple. The idea was... We knew the topology of the Edge of Extinction. We knew they knew it. So we said why don't we just tell them where they are. They are at the four farthest points. North, South, East, and West.
Tyson: Scattered on top of the island, there are four fire tokens. Follow the trails to their natural ends, then the search begins. There is no limit on how many fire tokens any one player can find.
Parvati: All right. Game on.
Ethan: All Right.
Parvati: Want to take the rice off (everyone runs past Parvati) the fire?
(see Amber tending to the rice on the fire)
Someone(Tyson?): Nope
Tyson: The second that got finished being read... There really was an all out sprint. We left the rice on the fire...
(see cameraman following Parvati)
Jeff: Now it's just a sprint and then you got to get there and you got to find and hopefully you got to find it without anybody knowing you found it because that's what you want is that secrecy.
Tyson: So I sprint up to the dead ending that I'm most familiar with and I immediately find a Fire Token because I am amazing. Got it.
Tyson(to Boston Rob): You promise that you don't have any?
Boston Rob: I promise you.
(See Tyson check out Boston Rob's shorts)
Tyson: You guys don't have any?
Parvati: Nothing
Tyson: The consensus is that the other three Fire Tokens were never found by anyone.
Tyson: I only have one. Nobody else has one?
Natalie: Dude. Let's just frisk it now.
Boston Rob: Let's frisk. I have nothing.
Boston Rob: The thing is all of these people have no idea that I have the Fire Tokens. They believe that I wasn't the one to first of any trails... but I was bro. Three out of Four! We're in the Majors. I'm batting 750. I'm the best that's ever played.
Jeff: These old school players they have knack for pulling things off. That was really big because as we get closer to this challenge to get back in the game they have these options. They can buy something to eat, they can buy an Advantage in the Challenge, if they have enough Tokens and really work hard they could can buy an Idol that's good if they get back in the game. So all of these little moments is going to add up for that first get back in the challenge that we have on this season of Winners at War.
Jeff: Something else really interesting to me in this episode is Denise. She made the Big move last week. Put herself into the Hall of Fame with taking out Sandra and now you can see it. She's got that blood thirst because she knows she's capable of it.
Denise: I'm here to play. I'm here to play just like everybody else. I single-handedly took out the Queen.
Jeff: Last week was a huge move. Now she wants to to after Tony. Smart! Because Tony's Crazy and Chaotic and can cause problems and he's Very smart.
Tony: Denise pretty much did me a favor by making a gutsy move at Tribal and she took out the Queen, she dethroned the Queen, she used Two Idols, so that makes her a Big target and that's good news for me because I need protection in front of me. I need shields in front of me.
Jeff: Tony plays like he's nuts. Very smart.
Tony: She dethroned the Queen with her own bullet. Shot her down and paid her half price for that Bullet!
Denise: So you're going to get me voted out.
Tony: She's a threat. Keep her around. High profile right here.
Jeremy: Tony thinks Denise is like growing on that target echelon but Tony is clearly still the biggest Threat out here. He's still a big name. He's still Crazy, Wild, Tony. I do like Tony but he is the bigger threat in this game.
Jeff: I think my Favorite Scene from this episode was the Idol Fake Out. The Hunt. The Fake Hunt that Sarah and Sophie did because of Adam.
Adam: I really don't think anything is out there.
Ben: Did you find something?
Adam: No. I didn't find anything.
Ben: Adam?!
Sophie: The boys are saying "Where is the Hidden Immunity Idol?" but they have no idea. I have the Idol (you know) in my bag.
Adam: I'm convinced that between Ben and Sarah they have an Idol.
Adam: I might go for a little walk through the jungle just in case there is something still out here.
Jeff: I've got to talk about Adam. When Adam played the first time he played what some people say was kind of (you know) like a whiny game. You know he was always this and that but he's a smart young guy. And he won that game.
Ben: Devens found one in a tree above his shelter.
Adam: It's so obvious to me that they are pretending to look for an Idol.
Ben: One of them was in a Clay Pot.
Adam: In a Clay Pot?!
Ben: Yup
Adam: I'm not an idiot guys. I can't stand it.
Jeff: We invited him back to see what would he do differently this time and he's playing very differently.
Sarah: You can go through all my stuff. I don't have it. And I don't want to go into the merge with rumors going around that I have an Idol that I don't have. So I will dump all my crap out right now.
Adam: I speculate about Sarah having a freaking Idol and now it's all out in the open. Now I have to do damage control when I'm convinced that they are the ones that are lying to me. This is ridiculous.
Jeff: And maybe the most significant came from this episode when Yul was voted out because it's all Old School. They are all gone.
Jeff: I think there was a couple things that were happening when this season started. There was a little envy from some of the newer players. Like okay. Enough already with Parvati. Enough already with Boston Rob. Sandra's already won twice. I also think wisely newer players knew two things. One, these guys are super cagey. If we let them stick around they can beat us and two, they don't know our game. We play a faster, different, more aggressive game and if we move quickly we can pull the rug out from under them and send them all to Edge of Extinction and they have.
Jeff: At the end when somebody does get back in the hiccup with Edge of Extinction is relationships on Edge relationships in the game it is why it's controversial. To me it adds another dilemma of how do you play this game in the early stages with people you're going to vote out knowing that they are going get a lot more time. You can complain about it and a lot of people do but it's here this season and the reason we have edge this season is because we had Twenty Amazing people. I didn't want to see Wendell get voted out on Day 3 and not come back. I want him to come back. So that's why we did it. So that everybody out there has at least One maybe Two shots to get back in the game.
Jeff: All right so glad we are hanging out and sharing Survivor. Especially right now. It's a great way to bond and if you have a friend that isn't watching, call them up and tell them to catch up because this is the Greatest Season of All Time! See you next week.
