No mysteries on this one except for the identity of the person saying the title quote. I'll guess that's not Phillip, mostly because it would have come out as Persona Au Gratin.

If you look at the vidcaps, you can see two different gatherings on the tribal mats before a challenge (one has Brenda with a buff on her knee, the other without; one has Julia with a long shirt and one without). The Faves are rather serious-looking in one of the walk-in caps.

This would suggest to me that the Faves lost immunity and when they got back to camp, Brandon's name may have come up in the discussion for the boot and that's when he went bonkers. Don't think he'd go cuckoo (yet) if they were safe from the vote.

In diplomacy, the term persona non grata literally meaning "an unwelcome person" and refers to a foreign person whose entering or remaining in a particular country is prohibited by that country's government.
In non-diplomatic usage, referring to someone as persona non grata is to say that he or she is ostracized. Such a person is for all intents and purposes culturally shunned, so as to be figuratively nonexistent.

In any case, I wonder what finally caused Brendon to just go haywire on the tribe? It can't have been having Corinne sent out instead of Andrea because the Faves never went to Tribal Council. No, it must be something else.

Looks like he decides to have it out with Phillip. Who, let's face it, has been pretty condescending in his Napoleonic role.

I do kind of admire what he's tried to do with Stealth, but he really hasn't gotten in everyone's heads as much as he thinks he has.

My guess would be the ammount of camera time Brandon knew he would get. Every thing boils down to face time on camera.

I really think that Brandons on the verge of breakdown all the time and he is so afraid of pretty women, I think it appears that he blows up at Andrea because her eyes make her too evil and it all just starts to snowball.

Personally, with him giving comments of what he would do, if he has to, that makes me think that he came into the game this time with disasterous acts planned out by the whole Hantz family to make it history-making Hantz style, etc.

Sane people don't normally tell everyone they plan to do, 'if' they have a moment or situation. This was all premeditated and I believe that as all of us, being the real Fans of the show are the ones that are getting screwed!

And IF Erik gets removed due to 'touching' Brandon, I will never watch Survivor again. I have always hated the Hantz charactors and I can see this being the line, that I'm tired of having to cross of a fan. Very disappointing.

Top Ten Things that caused Brandon to go Haywire, this time.

10. The dust speck in Shamar's eye keeps taunting him.
9. The rats were looking at him funny.
8. The RTVW communal Voodoo Doll finally kicked in.
7. Mercury is in retrograde.
6. He finished the detox off his usual meds
5. No really that dust speck would not leave Brandon alone.
4. The support staff ran out of tranquilizer stuff for the tranq darts that usually keep him under control.
3. He calculated the amount of camera time he was getting, and he needed more of it, much more.
2. The small bushman left behind some special berries just for Brandon.
1. His tribemates just will not stop with the whole breathing thing. In, Out, In, Out, hour after hour, day after day.

This only encourages future Hantz's to top Brandon's hissy fit. Do we really want to give them ideas on how to out Hantz other Hantz's?

I agree with the theory that this happens after TC. It would be unusual for those that would be plotting against Brandon to tip their hand before going to TC, most likely he is either surprised at TC, or has his suspicions become more factual when votes against him are revealed, or when deep probing questions from Dimples reveals something.

I guess it's also possible that he could eavesdrop and learn of an anti-Brandon plot that way.

Then, three days without beans or rice. Good think he can't ruin all the coconuts (Suzzee?).

The Basketball promo tells us that we will have a one-of-a-kind tribal Council so it has to be Bikal.

I wouldn't be surprised that, with a 9-6 lead and no Shamar to defeat, Bikal decided to throw a challenge and get rid of the nephew just like Zapatera did to the uncle. Maybe it's part of their pre-IC discussion and leads to the meltdown. Or the meltdown leads to the decision.

I wouldn't be surprised by that, either... but that wouldn't fit the "one-of-a-kind" statement as we've seen that before where a tribe threw it on purpose to boot someone (hello, Russhole) and the guys gave up immunity so they could boot Bill in One World.

To make that statement true, it's got to be something we've never seen before. How about a tribal council on the spot while both teams are there on the mats at the immunity challenge? That would fit with the looks of amazement from the Fans in glancing over to the Faves. Or a "we're going to throw this challenge right now and then march straight to Tribal Council without going back to camp." Both would be things we've never seen before on Survivor.

I agree Pepe, I suggested that in the vidcaps thread when someone pointed out that Brandon Malcom and Brenda weren't wearing shoes (or had only flip flops on) to the IC. I said that maybe the favorites are so sick of Brandon that they have no intention of even competing in the IC and will ask to have tribal council right then and there. It would certainly be one of a kind.

I don't think it's just the Hantzes that a lot of people want to see go away. I think a lot of people want obvious wackjobs of all sorts, such as Special Agent Underpants for example, to go away too.

No wonder Brandon flips out! I'd probably flip out too if my tribe wanted to concede an IC just to get rid of me!

Then again, I'm not sure I can blame his tribe. I guess they just reached their breaking point with him.

I think from the looks that Brandon is quite capable of physical harm to others when he gets into one of his rages. I think production will be just as concerned to get Brandon gone as much as the survivors themselves. Look at the way Probst is holding Brandon back. They may have struck an off camera deal with Probst "you will vote Brandon out immediately and we will replace your rice" or something like that.

Jeff very clearly says (while holding Brandon at the shoulders) that they've having Tribal Council right at the IC.

This may be the most spoiled week in show history -- by the show.

I saw that too.

Probst was standing behind Brandon giving him a shoulder massage and maybe holding him back from burning DOWN the challenge setup, and saying that they were holding TC right now.

Indicating that Brandon's blowup occurs before TC, and before at least one of the challenges, because at this challenge he's already been secured. Hopefully with multiple Taser shots.
