I don't have the software or skills needed to get clips by myself.

I think that it is quite telling the expressions on the jury's faces when Jeff introduces them. Most times when the jury enters they are all smiles. This time they all look a bit upset. I'm thinking they are all disappointed that, 1) Troy does not have the immunity necklace, and/or, 2) that Kim does have the immunity necklace. That may not be the case, but whatever they are seeing does not make them happy.

I am curious where these jury vidcaps came from. Even on frame by frame they weren't in the post-show promo I got on broadcast.

Those juror shots show up at the very end of the last Ponderosa video for the week.
FWIW, most of the time, the shots in the Ponderosa video are not from the entrance of the Jury sequence, but rather taken during the actual TC.

I see what you mean Beagle, they do look unhappy/concerned. I'm not quite sure what to make of this yet. My gut says that Troy wins immunity this week and can't be a target but I don't have enough promo caps etc to know if that is true or not.

It is clear to me that Troy is talking about a 5 including himself, Leaf, Tarzan, Christina, and Alicia.

While I think he might get 3 to bite on that, I highly doubt Alicia will go for it. She seems to feel pretty comfortable in the all girls gig (right or wrong kinda like Jay did) and may not have enough reason to jump. I'm not even sure if Christina would flip we haven't heard a peep out of her and her thoughts in quite a while.

So if Troy doesn't win immunity then yes he is obvious to go next but I just have a strong feeling nothing more than a feeling that he does win it this week. If Alicia and Christina do stay all women then the rest is overhyped misdirection again.

Of the other two guys I think Tarzan would be the choice this week. Yes he is less of a threat or so it seems as Leaf would be but the whole thing with Chalsea talking him off the beam and saying he would be viewed as less a threat makes me feel that she will keep that word for one more episode at least and it may come back to haunt but she still hates Tarzan.

My early gut boot pick for this week is Tarzan.

Christina has a couple of confessionals that show she is solid with the girls. But she looks like she may be open to other options. Alicia also does not look like she would flip but she shows she knows she is not part of the 4 girls.

I agree, that was one thing I forgot to put in my post is that it also makes sense to pick one of the ones Troy is trying to band together so it weakens their chance of power and outnumbering the core 4 women. Good call!

My gut says that Troyzan doesn't win immunity and is gone this week. I don't qualify as a vidcap expert by any means but why would the editors show us that Troy wins immunity?

For all we know, that could be him losing it. I see anguish in his face not a fired up winner rubbing a win in his opponents faces.

Also, while Troy has shown to be excellent in the social game, I just don't see him convincing lazy and content Alicia to his side. For someone who said she's always talking strategy, she hasn't really shown it. She thought siding with the guys to vote out Monica was "the biggest move." Monica was the minority, it was a major possibility. I just can't see Alicia being a big move maker.

Hey guys, whose arm and leg is behind Jay in the 1st set of jury shots that FloPo posted? I am confused because it appears to be someone in a sleeveless shirt (doesn't appear to match with what Jonas or Mike are wearing -- unless it's Mike's brown shirt). There are only 3 people on the jury at this point, right?

Either it's Mike and it just is a weird angle on the shirt sleeve...or could it be a later jury shot?

Interesting observation. To me, it looks like it could easily be Mike from the previous picture - we don't see how long or short is his sleeve in the brown shirt, and Mike's a tall guy with long limbs.

The only other guy it could possibly be, based on the muscle structure, is a cleaned-up Troyzan.

I'm pretty sure it's Mike. His arms seem to be crossed like in his screen shot and the guy is wearing stone colored cargo shorts the same as Mike has on. Since he's so tall it would make sense that he's the one in back.

Yep, probably Mike....the neckline just seemed weird/too open vs. the button-up polo, and seemed like too much arm for short sleeves, but Pepe's right that he's so long limbed that it might just be the camera angle. Sorry for the false alarm!

Couple quick comments:

- These challenge vidcaps must be IC, since Jeff mentions in his EW Q&A that there's an auction this week and talks about winning a shower, letters from home and other reward items
- Looks like Kim is definitely safe this week, because the slip and slide vidcaps of her must not take place until next episode or later


How does this week's IC work?

- I see items like a rope and maybe puzzle bags in the background on some of the tables. So is this phase 2 of the challenge?
- Troy is standing on a platform/box. Is his color green (top of box)? If so, he appears to be doing pretty well based on the green table in the background having more items vs. others have none. But the sides of his box look purple/turquoise so wasn't clear what his color is.
- What are they doing when they're standing on the platform? Is it a matching/memory game? Maybe if you get a correct match you "win" the items you need for your puzzle? Other ideas?

If there is an auction then maybe there will be a bid item like Danni got in Guatemala and Jayson got in Samoa that you can buy that will help in the immunity challenge. Certainly Troyzan would save his money as a saavy survivor fan knowing it is possible and he would do what it takes to buy it.

Agreed. Getting an "advantage" like Danni and Jayson might be Troy's best hope.

So far, the CBS clues and Jeff's EW comments sure aren't hyping Troy's chances or anything major happening at TC....

P.S. There won't be another HII hidden since Kim still has hers, right?

Didn't both Kim and Troyzan find their HIIs after the merge? It's certainly possible that Troy's old HII will go back into circulation.

Pepe, I thought Kim found hers pre-merge, early on in the game, but I might be wrong on that. If there is the possibility of a new one being hidden, that adds another interesting wrinkle and perhaps another glimmer of hope for Troy.

On a related note, if everyone is expecting new HII clues now that Troy played his, but there are none, perhaps that will lead to speculation about the 2nd HII. It is interesting how Kim's HII hasn't been brought up in along time.....if Sabrina or Kat somehow find out she's been keeping it a secret, that would be interesting.

The HII Kim found was there from the start, the designated Salani HII that the men didn't bother finding. She found it post-switch but pre-merge.

The HII Troy found was post-merge, a substitute for the HII Colton took out of the game. That in itself was an unusual production move as previously they haven't substituted for a dead HII post-merge if another HII was still in play.

Thanks for clarifying, Dabo. I always get confused about the HII rules -- seems like they do what they want. I'm hoping they don't add another one, but then again, maybe they want to save Troyzan for good TV sake.

LOL, and superficially I would agree, that seems to be the case. They altered the HII rules at the start of this season anyway with the give it away to someone on the other tribe clause, nothing is set in stone.

On the other hand, it is a game show and they do have to plan out a course for it in advance, FCC regulations are pretty strict about fixing game shows. But something like Colton's medical evacuation, which was unplanned, and him taking his HII with him as a souvenir when he could have gifted it to a tribemate, allows them some leeway to alter the planned course to adjust for that unexpected event.

They are addicted to their HIIs, and I understand why; in the Pagonging phase of the game they are a major factor in potential upsets.

Just noting that Fiji was the one time they put another idol in play.
Yau Man found one pre-merge.
Alex or Eduardo found the other one pre-merge.

Alex played the one idol at or shortly after the merge, which left one in the game, similar to this season.

Another idol was hidden and Yau or Earl found it or both; anyhow, Yau and Earl both had idols until F5 IIRC. Fiji is one of those seasons I didn't follow closely, so michel or someone will know if those details are wrong. However, I looked up the idol history for each season back in S22 when Zapatera thought they might get another idol, and Fiji was the one precedent.

As we know, they didn't get one.

Colton's could be called a pre-merge idol going back in the pool. It's just that the merge followed so quickly that it was merge before there was time to look. Or they made an exception due to the med-evac situation.

I don't expect another one, but if they want to save Troyzan they could do it. Despite the game show regulations, it's in the contract that they can pull any twists they want at any time.

OFG, you have the Fiji exception right. This is the first time since that they have replaced a pre-merge idol back in play when the other pre-merge idol was still there.

You're right, I'd forgotten about Fiji. It was pretty late in the game when Earl found the rehidden idol, I don't believe he played it, probably why I forgot about it.

OFG, since you've done the research on this already, you may be able to confirm or debunk this. It was my impression, not through anything that was explicitly stated by production, that if someone was voted out with an idol that was not known to the entire tribe at TC, no idol was rehidden.

The rationale would be that production would be in fact interfering with the game by announcing/putting a new idol in play.

That is an interesting question, and I never thought about it from that angle. So let's look at the history of idols. Despite perception, not that many have gone out in a player's pocket.
James, Ozzy, Jason (Micronesia), Brendan (Tocantins), Erik (Samoa).

S12: PEI
1 idol, at EI, good to F4. Terry never needed his idol. Not played.

S13: Cooks
1 idol, at EI, good to F4. Yul never had to play it.

S14: Fiji
2 idols, clue at EI, idols in camps, good to F5 (I think).
Yau Man found one Ep 7.
Edgardo/Alex/Mookie found one together in Ep 8.
Merge in Ep 9 at F10 at TC. One idol played by Alex Ep 10 and rehidden. Not found until Ep 13. Yau found the clue at EI that allowed Earl to find it at F6.
Yau played his HII at F6 in Ep 13. Not rehidden.
Earl either played his at F5 or not at all? (not sure what Earl did).

S15: China
2 idols, in camps. James voted out at F7 with 2. People knew or suspected he had them.
The idol should have been good until F6 or F5, but none was put back in play.
Note: this season had clues go to opposite tribe member, who had to share with the enemy (post-RC visit). (Samoa repeated this.) Not clear how they planned to give out clues after merge, if at all. In Samoa, clues went to RC winners post-merge, but Russell found one while winners were away.

S16: Micronesia
1 Idol, clue and idol at EI, except last time HII was at camp. Good to F5.
Ep 9, Ozzy voted out with HII in pocket. Rehidden.
Jason found it. Jason voted out with HII. Everyone knew he had it.
Rehidden. Amanda found it. Amanda played it.
Rehidden at F5. Parvati send to EI to block Erik or Natalie from finding it. Parvati doesn't bother to look for it. Last time it could be used.

S17: Gabon
1 idol at EI, good to F5.
Sugar found it, held it until last time to use it (F5), gave it to Matty.

S18: Tocantins
2 idols in camp, clues at EI, good to F5.
Brendan blindsided with idol. Not rehidden.
Taj and Stephen found Jalapao idol. Never played.

S19: Samoa
2 idols, in camps, good to F6 (Day 36).
found pre-merge by Erik and Russell.
Merge: Erik voted out with HII in pocket. Not shown that anyone knew he had it. Not rehidden, one HII still in play.
Russell played HII at merge, found HII again immediately, played it again.
Russell found it again, but never played it. Wore it around his neck at F7 and F6.

S20: HvV
2 idols, in camps, good to F6.
found by Parvati and JT. JT gives his to Russell.

Ozzy's HII is used at the merge ep, wasted on Whitney.
Not rehidden.
Coach's HII still in play, played at F5.

S24: One World
2 idols, in camp, one for each tribe.
Kim finds Salani HII after swap.
Colton med-evac'd right before merge with idol. Rehidden after merge.
Troyzan finds and plays.

As far as I can tell, the only time a player went out with idol in pocket where no one knew he had it was Erik in Samoa.
While it was not rehidden, neither were the second idols rehidden post-merge in HvV, RI, or South Pacific, even though those idols were played.

I used Yau's idol to trick Boo into thinking that I had already found it so that I could actually continue looking for the real idol. Once I found it, I had both Yau's idol and the other idol.

I have no memory of him playing it at F6. I remember the suspense waiting to see if Yau Man would catch the vibe and play his.

Yes, after checking various archives, at F5, when Boo was voted out 4-1 with Boo voting Dre. It was a pointless move but the only time in the game that Earl had immunity, he never won the II.

Figi was a pretty messed up very complicated season. An odd number (19) of players at the start (because one player had a panic attack right at the start and was removed, was never listed in the cast), everyone in the same camp at the beginning, tribes decided by some sort of pick'em and one tribe sent off to start another camp and also having to go to TC (Haves and Have-nots, terrible twist), Exile Island (aka Earl Island, he spent more time there than anyone), multiple HIIs and changes in HII rules, Immunity winning tribe forced to decide between retaining immunity or switching camps (but the Haves on a winning streak were so up in numbers at that point that giving up their luxury was a no-brainer, wasn't going to happen). At least in the end Earl won a unanimous jury vote for the win, a very deserving winner.

There were two idols, one in each camp, and Brandon left with it in his pocket. Although suspected, not everyone knew about it for sure. Still, it was never rehidden.

The rule is that there are no rules! They do what they want but having two idols in play after the merge can be messy so they usually avoided it. This season, the rule was bent. I wonder why? Could it be because the men needed it? Asking the quetion is almost like answering.

I had found my mistake while I was off reviewing the history, and I came back to fix it. I had a feeling you would find it before I could change it!

I agree with your reasoning. I think that two idols post merge was thought to be overkill. The Fiji season was the first one to have two idols, and they tried keeping two throughout. As a result, 2 out of the F6 had idols.

This was also true in Nicaragua, but only because none had been played.

I do not think there would be a rule that everyone had to know about it. It would be difficult to be sure whether no one knew, as people have suspicions and also I don't think the cameramen are reporting all conversations about the idol.

However, the Jalapao were underdogs at the time Brendan left, and they had an idol. I suppose the odds favored a Timbira finding it, and I do think the producers favored JT's side.

In RI, producers were down on Zapatera, gave them no help, protected Rob.
Personally I think a second idol post merge in RI could have made things more interesting and maybe averted the Pagonging (unless Rob found it).

Start of the IC with Troyzan on the sidelines would suggest that he did indeed win some sort of advantage at the Auction.

Squid, have missed your posts.

When the preview aired initially, it reminded of the toss challenge that was done in Tocantins, with players standing on a platform, tossing balls (?) to break tiles. At any rate, having a platform suggests that whatever the players are doing requires some aim.

I would agree that the challenge appears to be done in stages. Troyzan does not appear to have any sense of urgency either during or after his reaction shot. While this could be the end of the challenge, it seems more like a frustrated yell for someone still fighting.

The question is whether the tables are the first stage or the last stage. We may get better luck this week with the web promo, but until then, I am more inclined to think that the tables are the first stage because there are at least five tables with nine players still in the game. Some of the tables no longer have ropes on them, so either the ropes are needed for the second stage, or they were used to tie down something useful for it. While they may change it in coming seasons, as per Dalton Ross interview with Probst, production has leaned heavily in elimination stages. That would explain why there are still ropes on the tables, yet no players working at the tables.

Thanks VG for the close up pics of the tables. It looks like the ropes may be spooled around bars between the legs of the tables. Except the table second from the right the bar is bare.

I agree this contest may be done in stages. That makes sense.

Each of the remaining survivors has their own "table" and has to untangle a rope from that platform. Only the top X people (3? 5??) get to continue. The rope is used in the second part of the challenge. Thus, some tables have tangled rope remaining (the losers didn't bother to finish) and the winners took their rope to part 2 (thus no remaining ropes at the other tables).

Now how do they use the rope in part 2? my guess is that it is a challenge somewhat like the one in Guatemala where the remaining competitors are racing to get to the middle.
What is in the bottom left of this picture:

Looks to me like posts. Maybe the ropes snake around in a move by move race to get to the middle?

Is there a puzzle game that involves competitors with ropes/snakes cutting each other off to get to the middle?

It seems that Troy wins. Maybe he got a bonus from the auction that helped (like Danni did). Maybe Troyzan get a longer rope, or one less "block" than the others??

Byoffer, I think those are coconuts, as Rachel pointed out.

The perspective is a bit skewed in this shot, but It appears the platform with the purple scrolls that Troy is standing on is raised. You must have to stand on it and throw the coconuts at some sort of target (which we don't see -- would be the opposite side of the starting tables). That's just my guess.

Thanks VG! The closeup is great. And yes, I agree, they must start at the table and have to untie the knots in the rope or something before proceeding to the 2nd stand (where we see Troy).

Rachel, good eye on the coconuts. Could that be what's all tied up in a bag with the rope at the table? Or do you just get the coconuts automatically when you proceed to the center stand?

In either case, they must be throwing the coconuts at some sort of target -- which explains Troyzan's reaction. Maybe he just missed a shot....or maybe one of his opponents just made a shot.

Doesn't appear to be very physical challenge, other than requiring a good aim. Is that Tarzan just outside the edge of our view? Would be hilarious if he won....he did well in the do it yourself challenge, ha.

Tarzan looks like he's actually trying....being a surgeon, he might actually be quite dexterous at this part of the challenge. I'm pretty sure it's his shirt on the edge of the prior vidcap above of Tarzan on the stand -- so Tarzan must make it to the next stage. And he was good at the do-it-yourself throw, so who knows, he could give Tarzan a run for his money on this.

We can tell by that start pic what color each players rope is. After that we can tell some of the players who were eliminated at this point.

We can see the 5 tables on the left. The tables with rope still on them have been eliminated. Chelsea blue, Alicia orange and Leif Green. We can not see the other tables. But we can tell Christina and Kim seem to have moved on as their tables are empty.

In the new web promo (see clip below), you can see Kat, Alicia, Sabrina, Chelsea and Leif sitting on the sidelines, so they are the ones who are out.

Troy, Tarzan, Kim and Christine are the 4 in the finals. (You can also see Tarzan's red shirt on the left edge of some of the vidcaps with Troyzan)

My thoughts on Troy sitting is probably his "advantage" that he won. My guess is that it is a multiple phase challenge and his advantage is he gets to forgo the first stage of it. Then joins in for the later stages. IMHO

And if Jay hadn't blabbed to Kim about Troy's HII Troy would have saved himself by playing it, Jay would still have gotten voted out. His mistake was fixating on trying to vote out Kim, which would have been a smart move had he been able to organize it; but Jay was fixated on voting out Alicia so throwing in with Jay to try to get Alicia out was under the circumstances the only real option that had a chance to work. Troy is definitely a crafty smart player but he's spinning his wheels with too many plans.

That's certainly possible, but I do wonder if Kim would have found out about through Christina. We had a very quick shot of Troy showing Christina the idol in his pocket (everyone get your minds out of the gutter ). Since C seems to be firmly in with the women I suspect that Christina would have quickly gotten to Kim with the info. Who knows though?

I agree that the mistake was trying to organize against Kim, or at least trying to organize really quickly against Kim.

Troy failed to grasp that Jay thought Jay/Kim/Chelsea was the golden F3.
Also, Troy was not entirely resigned to playing his idol if he had another play with getting a vote to go the right way.

He should have stayed quiet, let the women go after him, and lobbied for an Alicia vote. I doubt he would have gotten Tarzan though, so he still only had 3 votes, only enough to tie the 3 going against Jay. Then Jay is gone on the revote, unless the women only put two votes on Jay.

Had Jay and Troy targeted Christina, they likely could have had Tarzan's vote, which would have been enough to pull it off couple with the HII.

So we know for sure:
- Troyzan gets an advantage from the auction and gets to sit out the 1st phase
- Kim, Christine, Troy and Tarzan are the 4 in the 2nd phase (we see Kat, Alicia, Sabrina, Chesea and Leif sitting out)
- I'm unclear on 3rd/final stage but agree that we do see Kim on the sideline somewhat dejected (unclear if she's out by that point or just stepping aside for a breather)....per my comments above, Tarzan would make sense as a finalist

I see the immunity necklace in the caps behind Sabrina and also in the cap where Alicia, Kim and Chelsea are talking (with Tarzan in the background). It's by a water canteen and a yellow piece of clothing -- do we know who the yellow item belongs to? Or do these vidcaps help us with who does/doesn't win?

Why would Troy search for HII and also be scrambling if he wins immunity? These shots might be in between the auction and IC.

Why does Leif have blue paint on his face in the bench shot? Or has he been looking like that all along and I just noticed

Jeff told us that someone gets a shower in the auction -- does anyone look clean and fresh??

I think those are Troyzan's swimming trunk. The only other large yellow item is Kim's shirt, but here's a cap of the shorts hanging on that spot. It should be clearer once the higher res version airs, but if you look closely at the vidcaps BF posted, you can make out the outline of what looks like the pocket on the swimming trunks.

We should still double check where the IN has been placed when others have won it, as it may be a designated IN location.

In the Sabrina shot w/the IN the beige shirt looks to have his sleeves rolled up...just like in the IC pics. However at the end of the IC pics in the E10 Preview promo Troy has sleeves down when celebrating. So the camp IN pics might be before the IC10? In any event the sleeves seem to unroll in the 3rd stage of the IC, suggesting that Troy might be the IN winner if his celebration pic is of celebration and not frustration?

This pic below is from the Stage 2 celebrationand it shows just his left sleeve rolled up...the right one has come undone likely from all the throwing.

It still might be worth comparing the Trot outbursts from the E10 Preview and the Stage 2 celebration, as they appear to be different.

In the Stage 2 celebration(webpromo) he jumps off of the box immediately and starts pointing and taunting. In the E10 Preview, Troy is still atop the box and yells. Not sure if that is a celebration or frustration. But it does seem to be a different order of reactions.

Your thoughts on that?

I watched last episode again, and Chelsea doesn't hang the IN there in the spot that Jay used. She uses a thinner tree with a branch stub that is near the shelter but not part of it. Of course we don't know where she chooses to hang it when she comes back from TC.

Troy was the fist IN winner, and he used that spot on the tree, then Jay used it, but maybe Chelsea wanted her own spot.

It does appear that Troy was hanging his clothes in that spot before. Maybe he originally put the IN there because that was his spot; then Jay just kept the spot going because it worked ... but Chelsea walks over and she bypasses the old spot and picks her own, and hangs her canteen with it.

if you compare these shots of the immunity idol to the vidcap way above where Chelsea is turning her head to look behind (1st set of caps in the "next time" preview), I'm pretty sure it's Troy's beige shirt and yellow shorts or swimsuit. (In the Chelsea shot above, the immunity idol is not there yet.)

I haven't had time to follow Survivor this season, so I'm not really up on everyone's clothes colors, etc. Can anyone confirm those are Troy's shirt and yellow shorts? I can't imagine they'd give us this so easily, right? Could these be old vidcaps? Or maybe they all hang their stuff together so it's not so clear-cut that just because the necklace is by someone's clothes that they won IC?

BTW, looks like what Kim is wearing in the immunity idol shot is the same as what she's wearing in the confessional at the end of the promo where she talks about how she has to get him before he gets her. And she is smiling there....although Chelsea, Alicia and Sabrina all look pretty worried in the other shots.

yep, I answered it last week. I went back to when Jay came back to camp after IC. At 42 min in, he walks into camp and puts the IN there without hesitation. It goes in the spot where the tree trunk forks vertically from the horizontal. Perhaps there is a stub there that makes a good hook.

But there were no clothes hung on top of it. I could see Troy hanging his clothes around it to run in the fact that it is his. Also it would be disrespectful (in my mind) to hang your clothes all over it after someone else won?

My 2 cents...

Here is the fork in the tree where Troyzan is hanging his stuff...


Clearly, we can see that Troy's trunks and stuff are hanging where the IN goes....we see it there. When he goes to the IC, he's not wearing his trunks, but, we can see that the canteen and the shirt on it, have been moved....he most likely took the shirt and canteen with him to the IC. When he returned, he hung them over his trunks again. And, the IN was hung over top of his stuff....

Since that is where they seem to hang the IN, it's hard to tell if Troy won it or not...cause, his stuff had been hanging there all along.

Here is another shot of it...

I may be wrong, but it sure looks like Troy has won the IN to me...

We know that he wins the second phase of the challenge, the coconut throw and advances to the last round. He will compete with either Kim, Tarzan, Christina. Kim could be exhausted after the second round and just sizing up the last part??

On Troy's last throw for the target, you can see that Tarzan still has to break 2, and we can see that Kim has broken at least one of the targets...

Finally, here is Kim, around the losers bench....seems like she's lost, cause if she had won, she would be advancing as Troy did, after he had won, to the next area. Kim, has gone over to the losers side....also, where are the losers looking at this point. Most likely at the second winner, Tarzan or Christina? The losers would be looking happy if Kim had won and gone on to the third round...imo.

So, I am heavily leaning toward a Troy win for the IC. We know he competes either against Tarzan or Christina in the sling shot portion, and while Tarzan did well at it earlier, I'd say Troy has the edge to pull it out. Couple that with the shots of his stuff under the IN...

PS. We also have shots of TROY searching for the HII. Could he have won a clue to a new HII along with his IC advantage at the Reward auction???

FP, Troyzan is wearing his trunks at the IC. He isn't wearing them in those camps shots where he appears to be looking for the hidden idol. Not sure that he would need to have a clue in order to start looking. In fact, my guess is that he starts looking the morning after the prior TC. So, the footage of the IN could be anytime prior to IC, as well as anytime after IC.

I think there may be a clue about the timing, which I think may be between RC Auction and IC, by way of the shower bid. We may need higher res vidcaps, but I think Kim may be the one to have won the shower, as her hair looks much cleaner than previous episodes. If so, the footage with the IN may be post RC Auction.

I agree, VG, Kim has clean hair, and all the others have dirty hair. Her hair is shining and she is not braiding it.

I think there would be a certain offensive arrogance about Troyzan hanging his stuff all over an IN that didn't belong to him. He is on the offensive, and saying it is his island, so he might do that, but ... if I were Chelsea I would just move his stuff. That is her IN until they go to the IC ... and we know Chelsea gets irritated.

When Jay hung up the IN there, it was completely bare, no clothes hanging in that spot. We know it is THE SPOT for the IN, so should the spot not be reserved for the winner's stuff?

I agree about searching for the HII.
Also, I doubt any clue will have directions, as they haven't done it once this season. There might be a "secret note" that would inform the bidder that there is indeed an idol ,,, but then the very existence of some secret note pretty much tells all of them there is an idol. Kind of a waste.

I too expect that Troyzan goes looking the very next morning, and quite possibly there is no new idol this time.

If Troy won Immunity then someone else is the target this week. He needs to convince the ones in danger that they should vote with him to save themselves. So far most of them seemed happy to do what Kim told them. But Kim has to target someone else if Troy is safe. The people on the bottom of Kim's group have to realize they could go home this week. This is Troy's chance to flip some of them.

Agree -- would make sense to have a new clue if they are going to rehire the HII. Troy's found one before and even if there's not a clue, I think he'd be the type to search and not give up, even if it's a remote chance.

I was leaning toward them not hiding another HII given the circumstances with Kim still having an HII...but OFG pointed out in another thread that it was done in a previousseason....and they might want to keep hopes alive/avoid a total Pagonging.

Plus not re-hiding the HII would certainly seem to indicate that there's another HII in play. Interesting that Kim's HII has gone UTR and none of the other girls are even wondering/talking about it. Jay said in one of his post interviews that he had no idea that Kim had it.

So far this season, we haven't seen any clues with hints on where to find the HII, have we? Just a clue to the fact there is one? So not sure they would switch to a clue that gives a riddle.

Of course Troy would look for the HII after winning immunity. Immunity is one round at F9. Lots more to go. If someone else gets the HII, also bad for Troy. He has no one on his side and is Target Numero Uno from here on out.

Could this pic

indicate that Christina and Alicia are working together instead of being enemies as we have seen? Alicia obviously lets Christina wear her dress. I must also say she looks much better in it than Alicia.

If they are indeed working together, then troy may have indeed organized a team to change up this game.

I know this is a long shot but I love to see people make big moves in the game. And it seems like a real possibility to me.

Whoa, I was wondering what was up with Christina in this shot because she definitely looks different/better. Thanks for clarifying that it's Alicia's dress. After seeing this, I'm also wondering if she's the one who gets the shower....although Kim's hour does look fluffier too.

Thanks! So Christina wear Alicia's dress to the auction. And Chelsea immediately goes for donuts and outbids her bud Kim, hmmm. (Although she sacrificed food to win the last RC so guess she's due first.)

Note Jeff says no sharing or pulling $....that might make for some interesting dynamics of the girls bidding against each other, etc.

I'm hoping that between Troy sparking the "confrontation" mentioned in the clues and the auction dynamics, we'll start to see where the cracks are in the women's group. Someone is bound to tick off or worry Kim.

Several things stand out for me this week

Christina has gotten more than her usual number of focus shots

She is not present when there seems to be a serious discussion going on

Notice both Kim and Chelsea holding their palms up (could be a gesture of resignation, "like what do we do now?" or weighing options "on one hand this on the other that.). Alicia and Tarzan in on the proceedings.

Kim is out of stage 3 of IC as evident in 2 clips
1st she is at the looser's bench

And 2nd that she is not near the slingshot at that time because of the distance between the 2, For her to be in the last stage she would have to be where Jeff is in this clip to be near enough to be part of it.

That only leaves Christina and Greg to compete in the last stage with Troy. I don't see enough to get a sense that it could be the 'zans competing head to head and am leaning toward it being Troy vs. Christina. Showing Christina as a real challenge threat and the girl that "let" troy win the IC. With her nasty "You're wrong, so Shut Up" attitude I could see her very easily being the catalysis for the confrontation at camp.

I think all these add weight to the possibility for her boot this week. JMHO

Any thoughts on this?

I'm questioning my initial assumptions about this after another look.

Everyone else is looking the wrong way to be looking at the comp.

Kim could just be waiting for the crew to bring up the tables for the coconuts from behind the blocks while the others watch them. because there are none there in this clip.

And we know from the challenge preview that they need to be there.

Good spec here, Beaglemaster! I love it. Christina is a very viable option this week. I had been leaning toward Alicia, but to tell you they truth, after seeing the auction arrival, I may be getting back to a male boot....ugh.

Troy is going to save himself, somehow. And, if he does, how will he do it? With the IN, or with the threat of another HII.

I think Christina is a great boot target, especially if she shows some Challenge prowess, and if she starts talking with the guys a little too much...Girls could be worried about she or Alicia flipping to the guys.

But, it sure would be an easy choice to settle on Leif...fwiw.

Yay Troy! And thanks VG -- this made my night. Troy is definitely being groomed for fan favorite.

So is Christina is still wearing Alicia's dress here? If so, Alicia must not be worried about Christina going to LL with it.

Leif has all his stuff....do any of the girls or Tarzan?

Impossible to tell if any are carrying their bags, though Alicia and Christina have possible bag or canteen straps visible.

With Troy having II and uncertainty about the HII the simplest course for the women would be a 3-3 split. That way should Leif and Tarzan vote with Troyzan it is a three-way tie and five women and Troyzan vote a second time.

Thanks for posting, VG. So, the only 2 that are safe are Troy and Kim. Everyone else is fair game...

I do think if there is alot of game left to play that perhaps this weekend we need to see it start being played.....if you know what I mean. Therefore I am leaning against a male going home....fwiw. So, that possibly narrows it down to Alicia, Chelsea, Sabrina, or Christina. I do not think that Kat is at risk for this episode. Just saying...

If Kim does not have her bag, then this could be the time that Troyzan tweets about ... Kim not bringing the idol again, except this time is more significant. Kim thinks her alliance of 4 is safe within the 8. Then realizes too late to save her alliance. Would be consistent with Sabrina, Chelsea or Kat going tonight.

Not much of Alicia. I still think the dream thing with Kat has significance, plus Jay still seems to really dislike her in post-game interviews, so I'm leaning against her as a boot choice.

Hey, why did Alicia and Christina bring their bags to the Immunity Challenge?

Do they know that they're low on the totem pole? Leif doesn't have his bag, as but does have it in the walk to tribal council.

I think I'm changing my vote to Leif.

Parathor...

If you look closely, you can see that Alicia is carrying her bag...it's across her chest, and it isn't hanging quite as low to her knee, as it is when it's just over her shoulder. If you look closely, you can see where Leif's bag ends, and the bluer bag begins. Alicia has her bag...

It looks like Christina just has her water canteen strap across her, but it looks like Kim has her blue bag with her as well...I can't see anyone elses...fwiw.
