My wife is out with her girlfriends, my 11yr old Survivor Partner is at soccer and I'm watching Ugly Betty with my 7yr old (her show).
While I am recording Survivor, I'm counting on you guys to keep me informed!

Cassandra wins reward. Sends Mookie to Exile Island.
Gets to take 3 people with her, but will decide back a camp.

Reward, night on a yacht with food and a nice bed.

Fairly vicious order-sorter where Stacey and Alex were concerned. Stacey got told she'd wasted being out here and no one ever wanted to see her again, while Alex was informed he wasn't in control of the game. And now we get to watch the ultra svck-ups begin as everyone wars for Cassandra's three extra Reward passes. Can she play power politics with this? Probably not -- but hopefully she makes some kind of effort.

And another UNMISTAKEABLE just-for-idiots shot of Earl on top of the mountain.
I'm beginning to worry when they get this obvious.

*nods* Honestly, could this edit be any more blatant? Either he takes one of the all-time falls or he lives up to Episode #1 and becomes king of the mountain. And I'm not seeing anyone with a quarterstaff, much less any idea how to use it.

Mini-endurance: balance your weight on decreasing-size footholds with the help of arm bracing, standing between two poles. This is the sort of thing where low weight helps, so Yau-Man continues his steady march to becoming the most unlikely challenge whore in series history. I can actually see him going on a run at this point if the challenges focus on thought, stamina, and dexterity. (Raw strength and speed, he's in trouble.)

Y'know, Boo's kind of attractive when he's desperate.

Not a bad Reward selection from Cassandra: Dreamz to get what Yau-Man calls a brainwashing chance, Boo to bring him deeper into the alliance, and Yau because he's earned one. But Dreamz is going to be the classic swing vote: back and forth, back and forth...

Mookie's vowing revenge. Hooray for Mookie. And he's figured out that Earl may have the other idol. Also that there's two idols. And that anyone who didn't figure out the clues after #3 was an idiot. (Somewhere in Loser Lodge, Lisi wonders if three is more than five.)

good thing to leave Earl. He's totally trustworthy.

Agreed -- one of the smartest ones we've seen.
Picking Dreamz will appear emotional to the rest of the tribe, but she's smart enough to know there needs to be more to it.

Cassandra wins RC. She takes Dre, Boo, & Yau man with her. People she needs to work on in an alliance. Boo is solidly in, but she still doesn't think she can trust Dre. They decide that it is Alex who needs to go.

You'd think they'd get to shower and shave on a luxury yacht.

Anyone who doesn't know Mookie has the Ravu idol, raise your hand.

Dreamz says Mookie gave it to Alex when they were voting Alex.

So just in case they will go with Egardo, and not talk to Dreamz about it.

Endurance challenge. Every half hour go to smaller footholds.

Cassandra first one out.
Edgardo second one out and they are on the second foot hold.

Earl slips, third person out.
Mookie fourth one out.

Now on the last foot hold.
Alex drops out.
Dremz is out.

Three people left.

Stacy in pain, and 1:15 she is out.

Boo almost loses it twice and saves himself. Still struggling and then loses it.

Yau-Man continues his challenge dominance (I never thought I would say that) and wins immunity.

Oh look!! It's a challenge designed for little people. Too bad Michelle isn't here to win it. We'll have to settle for Yau man, who wins it easily over Boo.

And Stacey, because both of them have far too good a picture of what's going on for both sides right now.

The talk was almost heading for a double-bounce there...

The idol has been passed: Mookie to Alex! Unfortunately, Earl's alliance knows it...

I love Yau man.

This is the first time he says he came to tribal with a normal heart rate and blood pressure and that is a good thing for an old man.

Alex, Edgardo, and Mookie -- sit down.

(I wonder how Earl and Yau Man got to Stacy so easily? I can understand Boo, but Stacy seemed to jump ship for no apparent reason. Not that I'm upset or anything by that.)

I dont think I've ever laughed so hard at Survivor. Oh the crest falllen faces of Alex, Edgardo and Mookie. Oh it was beautiful. So full of themelves they were but no more!!

One question: Why did the brain trust target Cassandra? I don't get that. 'Cause they don't like her? Dumb@sses. If they really believed Early had the idol...not that it mattered.

Probably because they see her as the person that links the sub-alliances together. She's tight with Dre (who they were worried about), she's tight with Yau-Man and Earl and the probably the closest to Boo as well. if they had gotten rid of her, they probably thought that alliance would fall apart and they could pick up Boo and not have to worry about Dre any more. I don't think it was a bad call on their part, especially since they assumed Earl had the idol and hoped to pull Boo back.

I could see that, too, and perhaps Mookie still felt irritated at her for exiling him. Although I was thinking that if they really wanted to keep Dreamz on board they should target someone else, because Dreamz felt like he had Cassandra on his side (or at least he *did* feel that way). But with the way Dreamz's brain works it probably didn't matter.
