FOX Network's Love Cruise recorded the first
negative value ever in the history of the Nielson ratings,
stunning television industry analysts. The little known
'Negative Score' provision in the national television ratings system
is reserved for a very specific scenario: that situation where
the unfortunate viewers of the rated broadcast are
actually hunted down and killed by other Neilson families.
Neither FOX broadcasting nor Neilson could reached for comment.

...it has to air something, and as long as the only people being killed are Neilsen families or perhaps contestants, the network execs figure they are safe...

Oh, CRAP! That means he could actually inflict damage in MY neck of the woods! Probably not the only one, but there's a huge Nielson outfit in Venice--famous for hiring lots of old ladies for juuuust under full-time status, and forcing them to do the work of two full-timers. . . No wonder they screw up the stats so badly! (Heeeyyyy! Does this explain things like The Golden Girls and Matlock?!)

Not a bad case scenario. Now if FOX would add a "Donner party" twist to it, the network would have itself a megahit.
