I've decided to post a few of the contestant drawings that I had the great pleasure of producing. There is no spoiler value in these, whatsoever, as they were all completed before the first TC actually occurred. The drawings of the opposition, of course, were done from memory and a couple of quick studies, so they may not be as high-quality as those of the my teammates, whom I will always regard as winners.

I'll lead off with my good friend, "Scottie-Dog."

Heh.

There's apparently someone who follows me around and rates my threads as "1"s... Sounds like a personal problem, to me.

I never look at ratings, though, so I don't really give a damn.

Look for Supes' picture later this evening. I can only "scan" them so fast! {grin}

Hmmmm.... perplexing! Now, you and I have certainly had our differences in the past, JV, so I can understand you driving someone up a wall (JOKING!!!), but that badly? That they follow your posts and low-ball them? It sounds to me like you've got your very own "ratings stalker"! Oy!

Speaking of our past differences, JV - you and I are on the same team now, so I don't want the two of us to have a Keith/Jerri kind of rift, 'kay? We can take *turns* making the gloopy rice, LOL!!!!

Heh. My folks taught me SOME manners.

Never complain about someone else's cooking. Eat it and shut up. I even ate that one dinner that my ex decided was so horrible SHE wouldn't eat it. Poor woman used to be able to burn water. She's gotten somewhat better, since.

Personally I never look at the ratings on a thread but I think you're drawings are good, so I'm gonna bump up your numbers!
Just doing my part to make you feel good JV!

By the way, I had a room mate who burned water. Literally, it really did happen! It was the funniest thing and I still tease her about it!

I draw, I paint, I do all kinds of artsy-fartsy stuff (and fairly well, I might say), but I don't understand why you're wasting your time with pencil and paper when you should be using Illustrator or Photoshop! (PS 6 does vector graphics now, so is my fave--and it has an optimizing feature for saving things for the web!) Once you learn the key commands, it goes faster than traditional media--plus you get all the neat-o computer capabilities, to boot.

And I must protest. . . why the big ol' head?! Am I looking into a fisheye lens? those ears look like I might take off any minute. . . I guess I'm just going to have to get off my duff and set the record straight with a more accurate pic. . .

And maybe if there was less chitchat and more of what the thread promised, your ratings wouldn't have tanked! Sheesh.

Oh--and one more thing--I get dibs by IceCat when it comes to sleeping arrangements. No way I'm going to try to conserve body heat by coming anywhere near something so dangerous-looking as those horns! What a goose THAT would be!

geez. I work, and have kids and all that. I'm not good enough to just whip off 16 drawings. I'm working on Supes' as we speak, but it's bedtime. {yawn}

Those'll do! And I also just use a mouse--I guess it's all in what you can get used to. The worst thing is when I'm using mech. drawing pens or something REAL--and I find myself trying to Command-Z my way out of a mess. . . I've been warped!
