While driving home tonight, I would have sworn that I heard a radio ad for BlowsVivor. Of course, it may have had something to do with the funny-tasting mushrooms on my salad at lunch (I asked for shiitake, but the waiter told me that they substituted some mushroom named Psilocybe cubensis -- anyone know anything about them?). Anyway, I didn't have a paper and pencil handy, but here is what I seem to remember hearing:

Announcer: Coming soon, on the next BlowsVivor, one tribe has to deal with the consequences of deception...
Angry Voice: You cheap whore!
Different Voice: I'm not cheap -- I'm expensive!
Announcer ...while the lack of nutrition begins to play a role.
Voice If this keeps up, we're going to turn cannibal.
Male Voice; Anyone for some three-card monty to see who gets eaten first?
Announcer: Will an unusual immunity challenge help to equalize the tribes?
Male voice (sounds like IceCat): Maybe the bodily function immunity challenges weren't so bad after all.
Second male voice (kinda sounds like me): Your troubles can be over soon. Why did you resign?
First male voice: Whose side are you on?
Second voice: That would be telling.
Announcer: All on the next BlowsVivor. Be seeing you!

Actually, I think I might have even heard a discussion about a massage roller on the preview as well, but that part is kind of hazy....

...and the only thing I know of that IceCat is trying to resign from is BlowsVivor...

To answer your question, GT, this week I got home between 9 and 10 each night (and at least got to read the bedtime stories to my kids) --- but on the job I just left, I rarely was even driving home at midnight ... 2 AM was more normal ... which is a big part of the reason that I quit! My daughters were always very sad about the fact that I wasn't home before they went to bed, and while I love making a good income, I love my children more.

I guess it must have been the mushrooms. I looked all over the studio for the footage mentioned, but I just couldn't find it. Perhaps it's stuff from later in the show? Once they're REALLY hungry? After all, they did miss out on a pretty big amount of food from the RC this week...
