"Is America Gullible"

I'm not sure how long this show has been around but I saw it for my first time last night.

4 contestants are given believable sounding stories dealing with phony issues which affect whatever community they are in. Each "issue" is purely bogus but the job of the contestants is to convince people on the street that it's real and get signatures from them to help remedy the issue.

The guy who won last night was given the job of convincing people that there were not enough trees planted in an are of the city they were in. If this wasn't resolved residents of that area of town would start suffering from carbon dioxide poisoning. He was able to get almost 600 signatures from people on his "petition" to take to the city council to have more trees planted in that area of the city.(I think they were in Houston).

Anyone else see this show yet?

I may have once...or it was a news type thing. I remember something about a similar situation where they were trying to get people to sign a petition that would ban water.

Ahh the dumbing down of america. isn't life grand?

Krismiss, you'd be a perfect candidate for the show!
