Anyone watching this? Two episodes in now. It's fascinating, but I feel like I need a shower after each one.

I am really sad to see Amber here. Seems like she's still sober? but moved back in with her Mom and has pretty much become a prostitute to pay the rent it seems. Sad, sad stuff.

The teen queen needs a good kick in the crack! (Doesn't she know that pants that low are out? Not that they were ever attractive...)

I agree about the teen drama queen. Not sure her accomplishments warrant her outburst. She has got to either be using something or have some mental illness, the way she is so defensive and thinks everyone is laughing at her. I don't think sex addition is her main issue, something more like narcissism.

Not sure the surfer dude is quite in touch with reality either.

The rest are pretty compelling to watch. I'm not sure that a sex addiction can be compared to a drug addiction. It would be harder to have measurable goals and milestones. With drugs, you can give it up totally. With sex, you have to know what is healthy and appropriate, which can be kind of confusing to this bunch.

I still find this show fascinating, although it still creeps me out. I think most of them are pretty sincere, but the show is being dominated by Carrie Ann, the brat. She has more psych issues than just sex addition, and there is no way 3 weeks is enough for her. And she is one hard, old looking 21 year old. Her skin looks puffy and funny and I just can't imagine she has any friends or family that she is close to. She is kind of despicable.

Carrie Ann definitely looks rough--even kind of "meth-y" with the dried out skin and long, vertical wrinkles alongside the mouth and some possible acne issues.

She's absolutely hateable right now, and I have so much respect for Dr. Drew to not get angry or sarcastic with her. But I'm starting to feel like she must have some major issues deep down, and I really hope she can start to open up and participate. The others will understand and forgive her, and she could make some real, life-long friends here.

I've always respected Dr. Drew, but when he brought in a trainer and she was Rebecca, who was on both the Amazing Race and also on that Workout show about Sky Gym. I kind of lost my respect for him. It was interesting that they kept saying "I know her from someplace." On Workout, she is blatantly sexual, constantly has her butt nearly hanging out, and has been seen making out with both men and women. In all of LA, is this the only trainer that they could find.

Just throwing this out there. I understand that reality shows aren't quite reality, and they certainly aren't looking after the best interests of the patients.

However, I find it completely irresponsible for the show to stick a bunch of sex addicts(both male and female) in the same living spaces together. I'm not sure how sex addiction therapy works, but I'm pretty sure that common sense dictates that you can't mix and match and expect good results. Am i wrong?

I'm curious too. I read in "A Million Little Pieces" that they keep the male and female patients in separate housing units and discourage fraternizing(?) outside of group. That's for drug addiction.

Here, it's almost like trying to teach patients with food addictions or disorders how to eat in a healthy manner. I mean, these patients will have to learn how to have healthy, non-sexual relationships with others outside of treatment. I almost think the harder part is to trust them not to be masturbating. It's all a matter of trust, self-control, and having healthy boundaries with those around you. And they are all adults, and nothing they might be doing is illegal...but they are all there because they want to get better.

I have been very impressed with Jennifer, the porn star. I saw her on Oprah and she is very committed to healing.

Amber always seems to take rehab serious, but she is just so messed up. She does try though.

Duncan is a very interesting guy. Seems really intelligent and sincere, but he sure did throw a temper tantrum when the ladies were gone.

I like the other guy also (the rock musician who has a crush on Amber). He does seem sincere in being there.

James is just creepy and after the first week when we saw him bouncing off the walls, we pretty much didn't see him until this last episode.

Carrie Anne seems to have some serious mental illness and sex addiction just might be the least of it. She seems narcissitic and anti-social and she must be very young, but she is not aging well at all. It is hard to believe that she was a beauty queen. All of the other women there are more attractive than she is. If the story she told in this last episode is true, she will need more than a 3 week stay in rehab. And what exactly does she need a manager for? Wasn't she the one who was in the "sex"/bathtub video with McSteamy and his wife that surfaced recently?

Dr. Drew is nothing but a big phony A$$
