Did you guys see the premiere of this show after Design Star last night? I thought it was great. Did anyone else see it?? Thoughts?

I saw it. Something was a bit off for me. I think the pacing was funny, maybe.
Anyway.... I know they did Vern Yip's episode first because he's got such a fan base already (and I love Vern's designs, too!), but was ANYONE surprised that he won? He's got soooo much experience working on a short deadline, and that's a huge advantage. Then, Cynthia's design was just plain bad, so it wasn't even close.
I think I'll enjoy some of the other better, just because they'll have more even match-ups.
