Marking the first time in reality TV history where a contestant was actually treated like a dog. A stressed-out dog. Do the judges know they're dealing with two-leggers, or have they decided this is just some canine breed they've never heard of -- one with very little hair, a tendency to disobey, and a lower-than-average IQ?

Three quick points:

1. Arguing with the judges is generally a bad idea when you're right: your average reality expert doesn't like being questioned. Arguing with them when you're wrong and the person you're yelling at seems to have a personal grudge against the issue -- problem. Bella Starlet is not long for this competition.

2. Glad to see Star's injury wasn't as serious as the previews played it up to be. I just hope someone has a camera record of Elvis' whereabouts at the time. A cat snuck in -- sure... We may have a serial attacker in this cast: first Tillman (who took his wound with typical bulldog stoicism) and then Star? We finally have players who can legally be muzzled, and no one's taking that next step.

3. Realistically, how much range do we have for the competitions? There's only so many commands in the generally accepted field, just so many activities a dog can do -- and for the new stuff, a limited amount of time to teach them.

Yeah, when a person on the block in any of these competition shows responds to a judge's comment with "Wait, I just want to say something about that....", you know it's not going to end well.

Don't know the names, But the dog that was eliminated was a beauty. Too bad the owner is clueless.

I thought it was kind of appropriate when one of the judges kept interrupting with that.

Of course, in the follow up interview, she again Aa!'ed her dog.

Beautiful dog, though.

That pointer (setter?) seems to be the class of the field, training wise. But Tillman deserves something for passing up that steak.

Why am I thinking, it isn't a dog it is my baby doll and I'll dress it up if I want to regardless of the problems it will cause is going to be on the next season of Dog Whisperer?

He seems to get a lot of I treat my dog like a human then can't understand why that is a problem types on there.

I think the judges had already decided when tehy brought them back out; but....
I really think the one judge was trying to get the other two to change the decision after that bit. I couldn't believe that clueless woman didn't know to keep her mouth shut!

I love my dogs, but give me a break! If a pro says no clothing; then no clothing! (But Butch does wear a rain coat in the winter )
