"Ultimate Fighter 4 - The Comeback"

Anyone watching this show? I almost missed this season, but caught in time. There won't be any coaches this season, but trainers. The trainers are Georges St. Pierre, Randy Coutere, and some other guy (don't remember). After UF3 with Ortiz & Shamrock as coaches, the fighters suffered with the on again/off again duel between Ortiz & Shamrock.

Some of these fighters, I've heard of; some not.

I have it recorded but haven't yet watched it. I actually liked the back and forth between Ortiz and Shamrock and am somewhat disappointed that there won't be the kind of rivalry in this season.

But you've got the rivalry, although not known in public, between the other fighters. Matt Serra and Shonie did fight previously where Serra lost. In the recent Shonie fight, Serra was in his corner coaching him, and Shonie won.

I'm once again struck by what a difference a good corner-man can make.

I agree - when they showed Shoni in training I thought - oh oh - this guys is going down large. But his corner pushed him the entire fight and he won convincingly.

Once again, tonight's fight was won in the corner, not in the ring octagon. Charles went a full 3 rounds, but there were so many times where it was obvious he was floundering. He needed someone in his corner saying something other than, "You've been here before." I wonder how it would have ended had he actually had someone giving him advice. I have no idea how Serra is going to do in his match, but it's obvious to me that he's winning this thing for his team.
