I'm excited! As usual, I'll catch up on weekends, as I don't watch much tv during the week.

Yipee! Oh, I can't wait for this . . . and I forgot last season left with his impending fatherhood. That baby better be born with "bangin' hair" or poor Jonathan might begin a new line of baby hair products . . . actually, he'll probably do that anyway.Jonathan is just living in his bizarro Jonathan world & he's so fun to watch him on his really, really highs and really, really lows.

It's all about the hair, baby.Did I miss the premiere, or is it this weekend?

Jonathan needs to be medicated. his moods are so out of control. it seems like no amount of talk therapy is going to help this guy. I almost feel bad for him but his crying episodes are so entertaining!!

I agree that I don't know whether to laugh or feel bad for him when he cries. I feel bad for his therapist, you know the guy is sitting there thinking, "I don't get paid enough"! Do you think Jonathan is on drugs, or what? Sometimes I do!
I don't know why, but I secretly kind of like this show. Maybe it's the hair...

i love this show because watching jonathon's ego is hilarious.
i believe he has to be on speed, coke, something that is keeping him up all night and as he says..."i never sleep"...uh huh.right.
and he always looks like he is soooo tired...anyways...drugs.

I can not watch this show anymore. Yes, I already knew that Jon-a-whore was an ego maniac last season. But if it were humanly possible, his head has expanded to the point I can't take it anymore. The mugging up to the camera, the tears, the "I'm killing myself" line...I am done.
The thing is that I really mean it this time. Really.

Excellent siggy by JSlice, Worm by the Fab IceCat And Icey bounced me! Yippee!!
I wish I were a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum...Cuz how can you be grumpy, When the sun shines out your bum??

LAST EDITED ON 04-06-06 AT 03:35 PM (EST)It has lost a lot of its luster. (Perhaps a volumizing spray is needed). The first season had the building of the first salon and the second had the expansion of the empire, plus a lot of stuff with the other stylists. This season is one big Jonathan Product ad.
Oh, and I've been trying his stuff. Dirt is pretty okay, but the rest is not as good as other things I've tried.

Yeah, I tried his shampoo & conditioner. Eh. Nothing special.

Ditto Tigger & Ginger. It used to be funny to watch the "World According to Jonathan" but it's now WAY too much. I swear, I have never seen anyone more self-involved that this clown. He is the classic "momma's boy" times infinity. His mother & older sis obviously created this egomaniac and no amount of counseling is going to cure it.
Jonathan, go play in your dirt, I'm bored & totally exasperated by you.
From now on, I'll get my short, sweet & funny Jonathan fix from "The Soup" where I can get a good laugh, but not have to suffer through an entire episode.

>I love the reality show clips on Talk Soup! It's so funny when they go off on the most absurd moments of the week. Another good show for stupid reality show moments is Best Week Ever on VH1 (I think) Friday nights.

What is up with Jonathan crying all the time? I agree that the QVC thing looked really stressful, but it seems a little odd that he is so weepy. He was really losing it on the first part of the QVC show. Was he just nervous, or what? I don't get this guy, is he on drugs or bi-polar or something?
Why do I keep watching! I swear, I like to see him doing hair! It's all about the hair.
"RE: Blow? "
Posted by freakusmaximus on 04-12-06 at 04:12 PM
obviously he has many issues. there is no "reason" for him to be crying so much. his therapist is the worst and isnt helping him. he has bad temper, absurd mood swings, sometimes violent, is grandious, is obsessional and compulsive, is stressed out all the time and cries at the drop of a hat. dont know what his diagnosis is but this isnt a way to live your life.however, that being said, it makes pretty good TV!!
"RE: Blow? "
Posted by tac_2 on 04-13-06 at 11:50 PM
It almost feels like I'm watching this one against my will. I mean, somehow I've gotten fixated on what Jonathon is so sad about.
Is it his highly successful and obviously profitable salons?
Or that his products are selling out on QVC?
Maybe it's his new baby and finding the love of his life. hmmmgee, we should all have such woes!
Actually, I'm only catching bits and pieces but that's enough for me to realize this guy is the epitome of LA LA neurotic.

doing hair??? he only does one hairstyle...everyone looks like farrah fawcett and jaclyn smith combo when they show the "after"...lolnow don't get me wrong..i wish my hair would do that...but come on...he thinks he invented this look?
oh and i love the way they make fun of him on "the soup"...i do not miss the soup!

I have really curly and thick long hair, which causes complaints of sprained wrists and arms from most hair stylists who try to blow it straight (lately I just wear it natural so I dont get blow outs) However, I almost think it would be worth the trip to LA and the $500 for a haircut to see Jonathan attempt to do my hair- trust me no jonathan product or "banging cut" is going to tame my hair - but would love to see jonathan struggle!
"RE: Blow Out"
Posted by LisaPles on 04-19-06 at 11:08 AM
Yeah, it looks like he is always doing a similar cut on long straight hair. I agree with the person who said something about the Farah cut.
I have the Medusa thing going on, too! Hair Stylist's nightmare! I will give Jonathan a compliment in saying that I thought the hair he did for the Bacardi ad "rocked". (Ahhh, just kidding with the Jonathanism!)
Favorite egotistical quote from last night's show - "Bad hair zero, Jonathan one million".
"RE: Blow Out"
Posted by ginger on 04-19-06 at 03:32 PM
I liked last night's episode. It returned to the stuff I always found fascinating - his work on the ads, the final test for his assistants. And next week looks good, too, because he will, apparently, have a "failure" moment or two.
"RE: Blow Out"
Posted by freakusmaximus on 04-19-06 at 04:30 PM
I agree that last night's episode was good-
but am still bothered by the fact tha everyone who walks into that salon has great hair to start with (notice nobody has frizz or split ends or hair in bad condition) would love to see jonathan work on some challenging hair
plus, his assistants do the blow- outs anyway his ego is out of control
do you think the people who work for him actually like him> he seems so annoying and high maintenance
"RE: Blow Out"
Posted by LisaPles on 04-26-06 at 09:56 AM
No, I think it is highly unlikely that the people who work for him like him. Even though there is a little something that I do like about the guy.Did anyone see the spoof of Blow Out on Talk Soup where they did a commercial for the Jonathan shower head and it was a crying Jonathan head?
I hope some of you saw it because it was hilarious!
"RE: Blow Out"
Posted by CattyChat on 04-26-06 at 11:23 AM
Oh, I saw it. I NEVER miss The Soup and The Soup does Jonathan hazing the best. Hilarious. Maybe they'll have a bit where the Kate Moss vacuum & Jonathan Tears showerhead have an affair.

I saw it too. Hilarious. That show is one my season pass on TIVO. What a dork I am !! but back to Blow Out, last nights show was really boring and why is this season so short? I would like to see more about his stylists.

the crying jonathon shower head on the soup was priceless.
i laughed so hard i cried too!
the soup is so much fun to watch especially making fun of jonathon!
ps...did anyone notice him say..."i can't wait to get home to see my boy...(pause) and girl"...as if who cares about the wife.
snicker....its all a facade.

hey MollyTV- I agree with everything you just wrote! the soup is soooo good at making fun of jonathan- the water pump, his tears, his banging hair- its great!
have you ever seen Da Ali G Show? maybe 2 years ago there was an episode when Ali G plays this gay autrian journalist who goe sto the fashion shows and interviews people, and makes them say the dumbest things (his whole point is tha tthey are all really full of BS and he catches them in the most outrageous statments) anyway in one he interviewed Jonathan way before I even knew who Jonathan was- Ali brought up an absurd topic: have you ever noticd that all of the good guys in history have long hair, and Jonathan was like " totally, I have been thinking about that for a long time, dude, Moses and Jesus have long hair"
then Jonathan (prompted by Ali G) admitted that he thought Osama Bin Laden was a stylish dresser. Jonathan then went on to say that the US govt should send him to kill Osama- that he would have no problem! it was SOOO outrageous- I wish the soup would find that clip!!also I agree he seems to be with that fiance of his just to have a child. he is way to into himself to ever have a normal relationship with anyone!

Jonathan was on the View today. Air kisses galour. God, he's pompous. He kinda looks like a plastic Patrick Swayze with a receding hairline. They gave hima hard time about his prices. He thinks he's definitly worth it. 3500.00 for a housecall.
They then talked about how upset he was about packaging his stuff in a bowl of rocks. WTF?
Clips of him crying.
Yawn.
"RE: Blow Out"

Saw that too Ahtumbreez. I agreed with Barbara and she
is loaded and wouldn't pay $3,500 for a haircut. I think
he lied no one in their right mind would pay that. If he is
telling the truth he probably ripped off some unduspecting
rich senior citizen. I 've been reading these boards about
the show and from what I read and what I saw on the View,
he is probably in the closet or on the down low with
being straight(Oprah did a show about that).
Just because he's married with a baby doesn't automatically make a person straight.
A straight man doesn't cry all the time and in public like that. Gay men on the other hand aren't afraid to show their emotions. (Richard Simmons, cries all the time)
IMO a closeted man would have mood swings and unnatural outbursts, trying too hard to give the persona of being
straight?

I think that many other psychological issues/chemical problems contribute to his crying, moods swings etc. definitely hiding the fact that he is gay could take an emmotional toll on him- but it seems much more than that.

>I think that many other psychological

>crying, moods swings etc. I have thought "chemical problems" ever since I started watching the show. I know it's wrong to "accuse" someone of that, but he sounds really nasally a lot of the time and the mood swings fit right in, too. Or maybe he's BiPolar, or a fun combination of both! Yikes!

just this week i have come to the conclusion that he must be doing coke...why?
besides, he NEVER sleeps, he is manic, he is up/down at any given moment...AND now i realize...this is why he sweats so much.
i mean he lifts weights(it looks like) so why is he sweating.the last person i knew that was doing coke(not that i know many) was always sweating.
so just my opinion...
mollytv.
he needs an intervention...i can't even stand to look at him when he gets all full of himself.

Thank you Molly, now I know I'm not alone!
Him being in love with himself fits right in with the profile, too. Yeech! Personally, I can't get away from someone like that fast enough.
Maybe we will see him next on the "reality" show Intervention.

fun thought....you just KNOW we are going to be forced watching season 4? all about his wedding to ceecee...
and you just KNOW he is going to be the diva in charge of it.
and you just KNOW those two leeches tina and ? (his TEAM jonathon ladies) will be his best men.
one last thing i have to point out...didn't he fire that motorcycle stylist because he wore a TEE SHIRT to work in?? and i swear i saw jonathon doing someones hair while wearing an orange TEE SHIRT on the last episode.
AAAARRRRCCCHHHH.....he just can't be real.

interesting theory about the coke. has anyone noticed that he also NEVER eats?! he also mentioned that a sip of coffee would give him heart palpatations.
my guess is that he is bipolar and also does coke or another type of upper (bad combo) hence the rages, the sweating, the panic attacks, the mania, crying, the not eating, etc.

a single person has paid him

giggles...yes he certainly does lie! did you see 'the soup' this week?
as usual funny...they show the clip where jonathon p(product) is having a royal hissy fit because he wants to see "how he looks" and the director tells jonathon p to look in the mirror....
and we KNOW how JP reacted...lol...
how can this season be over already...i finally watched him on the view....oh how ironic....star asking jp how he feels about being labeled gay WHEN HE ISN'T!!!
BUT star....he IS....just like gay al!! and you can't fool us!
i could talk about this show forever...
