Posted by 3disneynuts on 10-13-04 at 00:22 AM
Just started watching this Sunday and tonight Tuesday one of the guys passed away...not on the show but IRL after filming, the website says in memory of Tim Roberts Oct 11 2004. What a shame I really like the guy. My condolences to his family and friends.

Anyone know what happened? Does he have children? It is so sad

Dunno. Discovery Channel, right? Shame. Seems like he made the best of his time on this planet, though.

Tim is IDed as "Wild Card" on the site. Former heavy-metal rocker and furniture mover.

died of natural causes....

from the article...

"He then went downstairs for a snack of pizza pockets, and never returned. Four hours later, Roberts' girlfriend, Elissa Holland, found his 6-foot 4-inch frame collapsed on the kitchen floor.

Mark Mullin, owner of the Mar Vista house, attempted CPR on Roberts, 39, who didn't respond. "It was just too late," said Holland, who was living with Roberts in the Mullins' attic. "It's such a waste. He was at his peak." "

"Roberts' parents died years ago. He has no siblings or children. His only family was a close-knit group of friends, Holland said. "

Does anyone know what Heavy Metal band Tim Roberts sang for in the 80's?? Did he go by a more "Rocker" name back then? Id like to listen to what he created back then. Thanks.

Tim Roberts and I formed Criminal (1988-1993)
We wrote all of the music together and any important
information regarding Tim Roberts and his music may be
accessed through my website: http://www.timmurphyband.com
It may be possible in the future, depending on interest,
to have the Criminal CD commercially reproduced.
Negotiations are going on as we speak, for those that have
interest, there is a full downloadable song of Tim and Criminal
on my website.
Best Regards,
Tim Murphy (Criminal)
