"Spoilers to consider"
Posted by sleeeve on 04-01-01 at 03:44 AM
I think we should try to figure out what spoiler information we should be looking for each week.My suggestions:
1) The Mission
All of the missions are defined on the Boot Camp Webpage, here:
http://www.lmnotv.com/new/shows/bc/missions/missions.htm
We haven't seen enough to know if they are listed in order yet, but Mission ZOE (Zodiacs, Obstaces, Expedition) is listed first, and was the mission we saw last week.
2) The Squad Leader
The website says each week, the team will be given one hour to elect a leader (no more drawing dog tags from hat???). If the mission is completed, the squad leader will get immuni... oh, excuse me, "amnesty"... This could be important speculation/spoiler info, since the leader must be chosen with amnesty in mind.
3) The Dissmissed Recruit
The one voted out Survivor style.
4) The Discharged Recruit
The new worst enemy of the Dismissed Recruit.

1) If the missions are listed in order, across, Mission HELL is next. If listed in order, going down, Mission MOTH is next.I think most likely, they ARE in order ACROSS, thus HELL is next:
Mission HELL (Hostage Evacuation, Laser Labyrinth)
Objectives:
Infiltrate enemy building over land mine area
Negotiate laser labyrinth
Rescue hostages and evacuate via rooftop tyrollian traverse
Time to complete mission: 90 minutes

2) I think that a recruit that is well-liked by ALL will be selected as team leader next week, that means NOT Meyer...
My guess is Thomson, but he might be too far under the radar.
3/4)As for the evictees, I think Meyer is gone, if not by vote, then by discharge.
But I have no evidence for any of this...
WE NEED SPOILERS!!!

......the ladies might continue to vote off the remaining Fascist Four alliance members (Weasel, Jackson, and Morettiiii), but anyone of those guys is likely to grab Meyer and take him with them, out of spite...even though the smart move would be to remove one of the women to help your remaining FF alliance members.

...I agree, but it will come as the show heats up....let's look for transcripts from interviewers with the shows' porducers....I'm sure they will be out promoting the show.

I agree that if the men were smart they would support a woman as a squad leader. If they were really smart they would support Whitlock as she was the only one who voted against Meyers and seems to have a firm grasp of the objectives of this game. Best play for them. Elect Whitlock as Squad Leader and give 110% to see that the mission is successful. By doing so they show the women that they can be fair. On the flip side this could paint a big target on Whitlock as being one of the "guys" as opposed to one of the "gals".

I know this always pans out to mean nothing but go to the Boot Camp web site and looked at the Dismissal Hill Chart highlight all the recruits pictures and check out the hidden text. It may just be place holders for alignment, meaning really lazy/lousy web designers.
