A final note to S. Dawg... I apologize for the little run in on the vote thread last week... I was more insulted by your statement that you were not going to wait (implying that you were somehow in charge of the thread), than by your decision that we should vote this week...

Shakes and I had discussed doing the voting thread differently this week since it was a two-parter... we had every intent of forcing people to vote before the gauntlett began (as was your defense), but we had hoped to make it a little more challenging by not only asking people to pick the winner, but also to guess the score at the end of the physical part of the gauntlett, and then asking people to predict the jury vote for next week... sadly your decision to take over the voting thread precluded this additional challenge, and made the vote much less intellectual, and much more dull... we can still vote on the jury next week, but I'd like to apologize for flaming you in the thread... your intentions were good, and my explanation was not...

I would have apologized to you in the other thread, but, as I said in another post, I have grown extremely tired of this show, and I am trying to limit my posts to this board, in a sort of silent protest... Also, you were correct to include my vote for Wolf in the tallies from last week... I am sure that he will win because we are watching Survivor 1, part 2...

Anyway, this post has gone way off topic, so for those of you with any interest left in this show... enjoy the vidcaps... if anyone is up to the challenge, I'd love to see speculation about what challenge those red-circle things might be used in... I personally have no clue, but if anyone wants to start the speculation, below, I'd be happy to join in...

I mentioned this in another thread - I recall seeing a quick scene (in the previews?) with the circle thingy challenge used as another stamina test. If I'm not mistaken, I saw the two recruits with their arms out straight inside the circles. I assume the challenge is to hold your arm out longer than your opponent.

As I said in the other message, I like to call this the "Operation" challenge. I can only hope the first one who lets his (or her) arm down and hits the circle hears a loud, annoying buzz and their nose lights up red.

No problem, apology accepted. I was not trying to imply that I controlled anything. Since the week before nobody started a thread until almost the last minute, I was merely saying that I wasn't going to wait that long this time.

As to the extra voting for the score, to be honest I don't think anyone cares enough. It's a sad fact that these Boot Camp boards have been virtually silent for most of the time, and what discussion HAS taken place has been about the game being fixed OR shots being taken at females. Also, shakes has been non-existant on this board for weeks. No summaries, no nothing. I would've taken over writing Boot Camp summaries, also, but didn't waste my time as it is clear nobody cares enough.

I did get to meet the lovely Recruit BluSavana on this board, so there was some redeeming features to it. Right Blu?? I SAID "RIGHT BLU???"
