What more proof do we need? Jackson VOTED Whitlow, but then TOOK OUT Recruit Brown! Jackson by rights should have either taken Whitlow, for whom he was lobbying hard to take out all episode long, OR taken Morettiii with him, since Morettiii LIED to him and VOTED AGAINST him. I have more on this at the end of this post, however.

This episode was great for gameplayers, not so great for the military mission. I'm not sure how the clocks were synchronized in the mission, but after 30 minutes they were still at the beginning?!?! I could not conceive of how they were going to get it done in time, with 5 minutes to go and they still aren't on the escape tower. But lo and behold, they did! I'm not trying to denigrate their success, but I'm going to check the tapes: there seems to be some discrepency there in the time.

And WHAT A REWARD FOR SUCCESS!!! One, count it, ONE FULL HOUR in the hot tub! WOW!!!! That's really something to dodge lasers and guard dogs for! And punishment for failure is having to sit in the COLD hot tub? Whoopee! Did we lose our creativity here, producers?!?!

The opening credits DID explain to us who the "Jury" are for the Gauntlet. They must read these boards and noted the confusion. Probably got a few emails, also. Note that that DIRTY, NASTY QUIT Katherine will NOT be partcipating. A nasty QUIT like Katherine doesn't deserve to be on the jury.

The show really, and I mean REALLY focused on the gameplaying. I was going to put out an APB on D.I. Taylor, but she finally showed up on Dismissal Hill. In fact, to BluSavana's delight D.I. McSweeney was about the only D.I. featured throughout the show. And the producers were "redeeming" him. But the back and forth on who to vote for was just going crazy. And the final vote: Wolf votes for Moretti???????? Does Moretti know that?!?! It's going to be *fun* next week!

The lifesaving training they were given bore no impact on the military mission (although it was indeed good training; they should've had it earlier). I've had that training three times, twice in the military and once in the Boy Scouts (yes, I proudly hold the Lifesaving Merit Badge), and that training is actually pretty tough. McSweeney was right in there with the recruits (to his credit). Jackson wimped out. If it had been a REAL boot camp.... I'll just say no more.

And finally:
One possible reason Jackson took Brown (at the producers' behest): This forces Whitlow to be squad leader next week. Everyone else has been squad leader. Were the producers afraid of the possible ramfications of a squad led by Recruit Brown? By that I mean, would the others lay down on the mission in order to keep her from getting amnesty? They hinted STRONGLY that some of the people might take a dive on Morettyyy's mission, but it didn't happen. That is about the only logical reason I can see for taking Brown.

More later as the tapes are reviewed.

Well, I don't think that is why Brown was discharged, personally, since I think that no matter who squad leader is next week, the remaining three would be smart to blow the mission. Why would you allow one person to "dodge" the vote, thereby increasing the odds that you would be the one voted off or discharged (doubling the odds, actually) when you could screw up the mission and keep everything at 25%. In my opinion, Wolf is screw ball enough to see that he must not allow Whitlow to have amnesty and will do whatever he can to blow the mission next week, so the 2 Moretti(y)'s would be wise to sit back and let Wolf do all the work and take the wrath of Whitlow at vote casting time.

I feel that Wolf will be voted off and he will dismiss female Moretti, since he thinks she is nothing more than a twit/dumbass. If female Moretti were smart, she would not allow Whitlow to win immunity, she would team up with Male Moretty and vote for Whitlow, in the hopes that Whitlow will take a male with her.....preferably Wolf.

This show leaves a lot to be desired w/the strategizing. Previews said its going to get dirty next week with the backstabbing. I believe it because aside from female Moretti, the other 3 remaining are ruthless liars.

Just my 2 cents.

Action Jackson didn't know who voted him out.

He took Brown with him because he preceived her to be the
biggest threat to his "buddies", the moronic Wolf and
the backstabbing Moretti With An Aye. That's what he
indicated in his little rambling speech at least.

Wolf is obviously out the in the ozone somewhere, voting
on his own, much like Yo-Yo Yaney did. Watch for his
dimise in the near future.

Hey.....I'd do a tongue stand on razor wire for an hour
in the hot tub with Moretty Without An Eye.

I think Jackson took Brown because that's what the guys decided in previous episodes. Lauder didn't respect that and Coddington got dismissed last week, so they didn't have a chance yet.

The problem is that Brown wasn't problem anymore, Whitlow is.

DI Fancisco may be the official head DI, but McSweeney makes the whole show. Go Whitlow! Blusavana
