"New Nickname"

I now propose a new nickname for recruit Morietty (or however you spell her name). Here it is:

Recruit Bonkers (referring to her little psychotic "episode").

Good God, doesn't she know that's one of the worsts things you can do in Boot Camp? You pull sh!t like that, and you're apt to go through ten times more hell than any of the other recruits.

Then again, this isn't real Boot Camp.

*********
Meow to you too!

Kittygirl,
That was hilarious! I've never been in the military, but as soon
as she started flipping out, I was busting up just wanting to grab her through the tv and pull her back, telling her "No...don't do it!".
She didn't really think she could win that yelling match did she?
Next thing she knew, there's 2 of the DIs in her face....it could only get worse. They might end up discharging Morretty in a straight jacket!
That was an ugly scene for sure!

I enjoyed seeing her scream right back. I could relate to her frustration. I think this is why recruits are usually YOUNG and maleable. When you reach a "certain age," you get too ornery to really be "broken down" and "remade" in the military's image. I know it sure as heck wouldn't work for me, either!

Actually, I think that Recruit Boinkers did okay. It
looked like the DI didn't know what to do with her.

Unlike the REAL military, she can't get sent to the
stockade (or brig - depending on the service for the
terminology for jail), so the worst that could happen
is that she has to get that little round face dirty.

Remember, she is the wife of a guy in the Navy, so she
is used to BS.

If it had been real United States Marine Corps Boot Camp, Morettyyy would have been sent back to week one, in other words, she would've started over!

If I had been in charge, Morettyyy would have been instructed where to tune in for news and official information as her exit paperwork was being prepared.

The DI's really didn't know what to do. At the very least, Morettyyy should have been rousted out of her bunk at 1am and spent an entire evening raking the sand pit, cleaning and mopping the latries, chow hall, etc. She would get NO sleep for a good 24 hours while she continued to do chores... and she would be expected to do everything her fellow recruits did, and THEN she alone would clean up, police their gear, etc. She'd learn discipline, or she'd be a dirty nasty QUIT like Katherine.

But if she wound up doing all that punishment duty, she would not be camera-ready for the show. Oh the dilemma *wink* Just a low down dirty leg! BluSavana

*get down in the dirt and Flirt, Recruit Blu!*

Stop eye-balling me Recruit Lemon!

That's true, Blu... and not only that... it's clear they can't just throw them off or even truly discipline them in this game atmosphere.

Recruit Lemon still rules, Blu!

I was wondering about that too, as I watched her very
carefully sitting in front of the cameras tonight, with
her make-up on so nicely and her lips painted oh-so-sweetly.
Sigh.

She's a housewife, huh? Hmm...wonder where she was when
I was selling Bibles (The Deluxe Edition with Almost Real
Gold Sides and Beautifully Engraved Illustrations, only 30 years of payments at 14.95 a month. Would you deprive your children of such an experience?)

All I remember of those days were middle aged ladies
still trying to act like they were 20-something, watching
"All My Chitlins" and keeping their nails polished nice and
neat for hubby.

That does it! I'm changing my screen name to "Morietty
Without an Eye." What the hell, I've already tattooed her
name where "Mom" used to be. Oops! There's that Texas Thang
coming out in me again!
