Hey, I know that some of you posters have some military background, so answer this one for us...All the male recruits have completely shaved heads, while the female recruits have PLENTY of hair left (Hutak could even pull off a pretty sizable pony-tail). Is this consistent with what would REALLY happen in boot camp, or have the female recruits been prettied up for network tv?

What about those skimpy t-shirts they gave the girls? I like!Cutting off the girls hair wouldn't have made for good t.v. beyond "Schindler's List".

What I noticed was that the guys' hair is growing back on top. I never realized the hair on top of the head must grow faster than the rest.

Male recruits are allowed one inch on the top with "white sidewalls." Female recruits are allowed to have hair that does not fall into the eyes and does not extend beyond the collar. Last I heard though, there are no bare midriffs allowed for females, but it sure does make for better television. Now, if they'd only hose them down, or get them into a mud wrestling defense position.

Yeah...they should have a life-or-death "fill your bucket with mud from the mud pit using only your body to carry it" competition.
