Woohoo MonkeyBoy! Gotta love those roughneck D.I.'s, though I suspect mines a different sort of love! I was a tad dissapointed that one woman chickened out and booted herself. So are u rooting for Balloon Boy? I still haven't decided... BluSavana

Why did that woman even show up? One day?
She didn't look like she was in bad shape, but apparently, she had a will o' jello.
Haar had the spirit. Even if she was in terrible shape, she has a strong will. If the recruits will cut her some slack, she'll last a long time.

When they showed everyone on the bus Katherine stood out. She had the big fancy earring hoops and just looked out of place. I knew she wasn't going to last. But I didn't think she'd give up so early. The thought of having her hair cut must of made her run.

Loree, correct me if I am wrong, but I think that Katherine DID get her hair cut before she quit.

Yikes! Then she was probably really upset. They cut her hair and then she left.

I actually agree with you. It was a good show and I will watch the damn thing as pathetic as that is.

But again I say I hated that balloon boy. He was just horrible.

Meyers was a jackass, but it served the other guys right to have one of their own voted off due to him. I did not care for the Crew leader this week either. I can not remember the guys name, but the whole "get rid of the weak links" speech was just about enough to put the guy over to the top of my hate list.

I think the squad leader was "Wolf", and maybe they edited it out but for him not to say something like "You did great in the challenge, you made yourselves look good and you made me look good and I appreciate your effort" was very bad.

I agree with you about that crap on Dismissal Mountain. First, why bother having those who voted for whoever step forward? After being voted off, why is Park still playing the "recruit" game, standing at attention, etc. I'd have slouched over, given those women the one-finger salute and a big "F" "U" to boot. It was pretty darn silly up there.

How can you not be pulling for Meyer. He just pulled off one of the greatest military upsets ever! Plus he talks in third person. hey, it worked for the Rock!

I enjoy watching Meyer. I will be sad when he's gone.

But they really dragged that out at the end. I kept looking at the clock wondering when they were going to get around to kicking out someone. Overly dramatic to say the least.

The last part of the show relly was VERY SLOW. Oh well the last few minutes of Survivor made up for it. I too was watching the clock wondering if it would end.

:First, why bother having those who voted for whoever step forward?

Well normally when the bootee goes, they get to pick who to take
with them, so maybe they have the people step forward so the
bootee can see who voted them off and take one of those people
with them if they want revenge...

What's your beef with Balloon Animal Boy?
He didn't quit after one day (like that loser chick),
he wasn't obnoxious or bossing anybody around,
he did what they told him to do, he wasn't in
terrible shape....so what's so horrible about him?

He's not as cool as Meyer, but I hope the doofy
kid gets to stick around and make some money.

>>What's your beef with Balloon Animal Boy?

As I said in the other thread, I need to give him some more time before I make an actual judgement on the guy, but my first impression was just not a good one. Maybe he was just too quiet and innocent for me, I don't know. He was not shown at all other than when he made the balloon and when he called his mom. Not a lot of personality so far, and what personality he does have just seems like........well, I guess like a kid. It just does not appeal to me.

I don't like Liz from Survivor, by the way, so maybe it is the same kind of thing here.

I will give the guy another chance tonight, maybe he will show me more.

I think his doofy innocence is what
I like about him.

I'm with you there. Liz is lil' Miss Perfect,
squeaky clean, ultra girl next door America's sweetheart...
..clearly grandma's favorite!
Kimmi was a grubby, nasty, cutie with a big mouth. I love
chicks like that!
