I can't wait to get a hold of this show....I'm so excited I jut might write the first episode summary before the thing even airs...it really souldn't be that hard, just follow the following outline:

1. Recruits arrive: Focus on the dainty one and the fat, old one.

2. Everyone gets yelled at

3. Someone cries

4. More yelling

5. Someone says that they don't think they can put up with this for that much longer

6. Obstacle course: the old one falls down a lot

7. Vote off: The old one gets tossed but not before an interview where he/she says, "even if I am the first one voted off I wouldn't trade this experience for the world."

8. Previews for Episode 2: More yelling, crying and another obstacle course.

Rinse and repeat 8 times and you've got yourself a complete season of reality tv, FOX style.

This show is gonna suck....I wouldn't have it any other way.

I AGREE WITH YOUR PRESHOW SUMMERY TO SOME DEGREE. IF THE DRILL INSTRUCTORS DECIDE WHO TO BOOT OFF BY WHAT THEY BELIEVE AND NOT WHAT THE SHOWS PRODUCERS WANT, WHICH IS DOUBTFUL, THEN AGE WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT OR EVEN WEIGHT FOR THAT MATTER. THEY WILL KEY IN ON THE WEAK MINDED AND EMOTIONAL ONES. THERE IS NOTHING A DRILL INSTRUCTOR LOVES MORE THAN TO MAKE SOMEONE CRY FOR THEIR MOMMY AND THEY WILL TAKE IT UPON THEMSELVES TO TRY TO MAKE THE STRONGEST BREAK DOWN. IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH BEING THE ALPHA MALE AND A MARINE.

RASH: I can shout--don't hear you!

(Edited to add that I KNOW I wrote it this way, since the Firehead humor will probably be lost on most of you. . . )

Being an ex-military guy, I'm kinda looking forward to slammin' the heck outta this one...

It's gonna be a pain watching someone get paid $500,000 to suffer the same abuse I did. We cleared less than $400 a month when I was in basic...

Oh this is depressing... I cleared about $1000 during basic. Some yahoo on this show is gonna make 500 times my salary!

Ice, I just take solace in the fact that no matter how much they win, they are all dirty, nasty, stinking LEGS!

(For those of you who don't know, a LEG is someone who is not Airborne qualified.)

Let me have a crack at these "recruits." I'll have Balloon Boy tinkling in his panties!

Wrong there dawgy!
Balloon animal boys lack of giving a crap makes him an ideal
candidate for someone with a will of iron. He's going to laugh in their faces because he knows it's not the real military and
he's not really in danger.

Shakes, you can see the future; I just watched "Extra" and they showed a ton of clips; too much crying, sweating, and screaming for my taste.
The most interesting part was MB's interview. The reporter said that some of the crew were from the original survivor and MB said he wasn't worried about the competition, there are several days in a week. (Or something like that, he speaks and I glaze over....
Anyway, they showed a ton of clips, they seemed so blatant until the MB/Survivor tie-in...I can't wait for some of you experts to analize the videos.

Numbers one through six and number eight were brilliantly accurate. Number seven got ya! Can't wait for the "official summary" (hint, hint....).
