I know some of us are rooting for particular recruits, but are there any Drill Instructor fans out here as well? I personally dig McSweeney, the one who likes to yell loudest, eat balloon poodles, and spit in the recruits faces =) I think he also presents the greatest opportunity for satire since he is so over the top. Blu...I don't know which one he is, but the
guy who DOESN'T yell all the time. He seems
more reasonable and like somebody I could respect.

I don't know which DI is which either. I will have to pay better attention tonight. I was busy trying to learn everyone else's names last time. I didn't even think of the DIs.

It's not as stressful as the real thing... and whut's up with the sittin' around the camp fire thing... next they'll replace the DI's with pimply faced camp counsellors

Yup... it is...

When I was in, I looked up one our maritime patrol aircraft in Janes Book of Military Aircraft... it said 'not widely used... but still in service in some third world countries' I laffed... I cried... lol

Well... at least we can do the peace keeping thing pretty well most of the time.

a MARINE...period..

but of course you know that, general...nothing complicated about it.
