I have never heard of it.
Here is one article.
And here is the official site. Sounds like NBC is trying to make a big deal about revealing the twist, as this site even has a countdown clock (currently at 40 days!)
Thanks. I'd never heard of it, either. Guess webby's expecting that it'll be big if he's giving it it's own forum before it even airs.Maybe. But, as one of the dating/ersatz romance rtv shows it'll have to make it w/o me. I pass on those as a general rule.
Tribe sent springtime flowers! blogging's scary
*looks crosseyed at link* Thanks byoffer!
Well gee, wasn't that informative? *Twists in Wind*
I'm with MW, as I'd pass on a dating show, but one never knows.

Thanks is related to where the casting bus for Deal of No Deal is appearing. We're avoiding San Diego like the plague on Monday.
I hadn't heard of it either, so thanks for the links! I'll probably pass on it, too, having no interest in reliving my dating days (or daze!). Still, I'm curious what the new twist to the format is.
Foo dogs by tribe.Ah... this is the first time I've ever posted in a show's maiden thread!
thank you! I had never heard of this show either. Now I know

LAST EDITED ON 05-07-07 AT 03:44 PM (EST)In that article on the casting call, it has men ages 28-36 and women ages 21-50 and emphasizes that they are looking for people of ALL ages. I'm going to go out on a limb (it is called AGE of Love after all) and speculate that the "twist" will be whether younger men will date older women or stick with the girls who are younger or in their own age bracket.
Well, that certainly answered all my questions about this show

I know everything, except the things I don't know
Nothing more to add, I just wanted to get in on the new forum feel.

So will this post count? New show thread - just think of the possibilities!Anyway, I just saw ads for this last nite. Looks like this guy is going to have to pick from 20' and 40's and he's in his 30's.
Everyone clear now?

The show turned out to be quite boring if you ask me!
I won't watch it. I just wanted to kick my shoes off and walk barefoot through the new carpet in one of these new rooms. It feels SO luxurious.

Thanks for the links. I'd never heard of the show either.~ wish.i.lived.in.LA ~
• Australian tennis star Mark Philippoussis will headline NBC's new May-December dating series, Age of Love, premiering June 18. According to NBC, the 31-year-old athlete will seek "true love," reality-style, among two groups of women: six 20-something "Kittens" and seven "Cougars," women in their 40s.http://www.usatoday.com/sports/2007-05-16-athletes-reality-tv_N.htm
I saw him on one of the entertainment shows. They were doing an interview with him.
PhilippoussisWell that right there is a huge husband material check mark against. New brides generally like to be able to pronounce and spell their last names.

I generally don't watch reality dating shows. However, since I'm over 40, I may tune in once out of curiosity.
Feh. I watched enough incarnations of "Average Joe" to know how this is going to turn out.

Dang!I thought this was going to be a Playboy Channel show!
Ummm.. This is the new "old cougar's forum".Feel free to google what you need.

This is "The Bachelor" show with a twist. Guess I'll to watch for a while to compare formats. Networks must be really hurting for shows when the copy is so obvious.
