The funny thing? I was looking at the pictures and came upon John Lakness and was thinking he looked like a stripper and then I saw...HE IS A STRIPPER!

The hotness factor of the men does affect whether I watch or not.

As I said previously, maybe he's into the science of stripping. However don't forget the old proverb, never judge a book by its cover! Having said that he will now probably turn out to be the dumbest one on the show lol

Louie reminds me of Rupert, Laurel sounds like Jael from ANTM and Azmyth is what I pictured Trina from Estee's SI would look like.

Louie does look like a desperate attempt to recapture Rupert. Come to think of it, I'm surprised Rupert wasn't cast for this thing as a contestant, host, or non-playing scenery. Even so, if I was a contestant, I'd keep an eye on my shoes...

I didn't think Trina was male, but I was looking at Azmyth in an androgynous way. If he was a girl, I thought that was what Trina would look like to me (with one bright emerald green dred down the middle). Hmmm - Does that even make sense? I hope so. Anyway, will watch to see what happens - I am a sucker for these darn reality shows.

Which just shows you can never predict what kind of images you're going to trigger in someone else's head...

I think I'll give the first episode a chance, but it'll have to be fairly strong before I consider watching the rest. Right now, it mostly feels like EPMB has mastered the art of ripping himself off.

First off...Big Thanks for the bright and shiny new forum Webby.
Hopefully, it doesn't go the way of BootCamp.

I for one am pretty darned excited about the show.
I caught the tail end episodes of an Australian Search-for-buried-treasure show and it certainly had me rapt.
Add MB to that concept and we can bet on some pretty good drama.

The cast does looks hand-picked (one can see that they are all a big bunch of "characters") but you can still sense a bit of "normal everyday person" about them. Even the Chippendales guy looks relatable.


And being from LagunaBeach myself, I'll have to do some rooting for the local girl. (Rooting of both the applause kind and information kind.)

They gotta stop casting these things from the unemployed DAW lines of Hollywood!

Seriously....8 of the 16 contestants from California??? WTF??? In whose book is THAT a cross section???

Burnett needs to mix up his formula more so every show stops looking like Survivor. Crikey! - even the tribal council will be there!

Let's see...in this very predictable cast we have the angry female defense lawyer, a "gypsy", a couple out of work "bartenders", an old NFL player (to grab the sports vote), a Chippendale (for the sexy skin shots), and a Rupert look-alike who should probably be a shoe-in for the booty!

Not tooooo predictable a group, eh?

Com'on Burnett! Shake it up a bit! I ASK YOU: Where is the young, intelligent, professional, very average looking, disillusioned reality show fan from Buffalo??? Someone needs to bring in the "Rust Belt" vote! I even a friends in Canada!!!HAHA!

Well...I'll watch it at least once.....
