"Pirate Master Episode 6: CBS Misdirection"

Mutiny is the word on the Pirates' breaths as their powerful captain becomes flush with privilege.

A secret society forms within the crew in an attempt to steer the remaining voyage.

Splitting the treasure has brought out the best in the crew...will changing that system bring out the worst?

Haven't watched the episode yet... I'll come back and make my guesses on the clues later. Except on clue 1 - if CBS is hinting of a mutiny, we can be sure that won't happen.

Azmyth becomes flush with privilege -- after we've seen his equalocracy in action? Looks like MB is still trying to get the dosage right -- or the Black Crew loses, and whoever the new captain is lets the Hamentashen completely go to hir head. Now who's likely to totally lose control of themselves just because they've got a little power? It's a mystery to me...

Can we assume the new split system makes the crew even angrier with their captain? What's possible here? The one that would get the most blood boiling is 'Captain keeps everything', but that doesn't work long-term.

'Secret society'? So 'alliance' just isn't good enough any more, is it? By the way, the password is 'swordfish'.

During the previews, we were shown reminders that Ben, Jay, and Az think they can take each other to the end. We were also shown complaints about the boys' club, so there may be a woman or two thinking that it's about time to do something with their numerical advantage.

After all, who can our targets be? Right now, the only obvious target we've got is Nessa. The other storylines have been resolved. Everyone for whom there has been a buildup has been cut adrift except for Joe Don, and the Louie/Joe Don vengeance storyline has been resolved. When Christa's story came out during this episode, I also wondered if this was a way to introduce her to us before cutting her adrift, so she may be at risk in the next episode or two.

>A secret society forms within the

>steer the remaining voyage.

I was just looking over the voting history, and Christa has voted for the bootee every time. Is that why she got screen time this episode? Because she's got the right alliances set up? And did we see Kendra for the same reason? Kendra's not a strong challenge competitor, yet the target's been off her back since ep 2. One or both of them might be key players in that secret society.

Or I may just be overthinking it, and it's the three ousted officers making a pact to stick together after losing the challenge to the red team.

Or secret society may just be code referring to Nessa and Joe Don, ahem, splitting their treasure.

>Splitting the treasure has brought out

Changing the system implies new captain, which means a red team challenge win. Again.

Does Christa's face time mean she becomes captain? Her money comment from last ep would make sense then. If she thinks her daughter deserves the money more than anyone on the ship, then she'd be less likely to share the wealth.
