Week 4 scoring

Ahoy mateys, we have a new leader, but the top three remain if not jumbled a bit!

This game is always open to all newcomers, if you haven't made your team yet please join us.

Pieces of eight were handed out to pirates as follows:

1. 60 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team is named Captain. Louie, Azmyth
2. 20 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team finds and keeps booty. Ben, Joy, Sean, Kendra, Nessa, and Louie
3. 10 gold dubloons awarded each time any player on your team says "booty, ahoy, argh, or Henry Steel". None
4. -30 gold dubloons penalized if any player on your team walks the plank, has to participate in keel hauling, is left for dead, or is cut adrift at Pirate's Court. Cheryl
5. 100 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team is responsible for a mutiny. None
6. 50 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team succesfully steals booty from another player. None
7. 70 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team is heard reading any part of a treasure clue out loud. Azmyth
8. 10 gold dubloons awarded each time any player on your team has their name on the screen in a confessional. Azmyth(5), Ben(2), Christa(2), Cheryl(5), Jay(8), JD(5), Joy(2), Jupiter(1), Kendra(0), Laurel(2), Louie(11), Nessa(1), Sean(9)
9. -10 gold dubloons penalized if any player on your team is a deck hand, a commoner, not part of the Captain's direct crew. Ben, Cheryl, Christa, Joy, JD, Kendra, Laurel

Week 4 bonus:
1. Name one player on your crew that will get a bonus of 10 gold dubloons each time Cameron says their name Azmyth(5), Ben(1), Cheryl(4), Christa(1), Jay(4), JD(3), Joy(2), Jupiter(3), Kendra(1), Laurel(1), Louie(7), Nessa(4), Sean(4)

2. Name one player on your crew that will get a bonus of 10 gold dubloons each time they say "Treasure" Azmyth(2), Christa(1), Jay(1), JD(2), Jupiter(1), Louie(2)

3. Name one player that will receive a Royal Pardon, worth a token that can be traded in for one free crew change at any time in the game up to the week before the finale. Pardon not used

Some still did not pay attention to the fact that the bonus was paid out to pirates selected from your own crew, so if you named a pirate not on your crew, you didn't score bonus. Buckeyegirl and Tribephyl scored the highest bonus of 90 pts with the combination of Louie and Louie.

The top score of 600 gold dubloons would have been a team including: Azmyth, Jay, JD, Louie and Sean Congrats to RudyRules, Dragonflies, and Snidget for having a perfect Pirate Crew!!!!!

I made a siggie for CTgirl and she replied that she had a gold dubloon in her eye, foreshadowing? I think it might be as CTgirl took over that number 1 spot! KYgail and Emydi round out the top three.

Every edit to your crew will cost you 50 gold dubloons, unless ye lost the set adrift player, Cheryl whom you can replace for free.

Ways to get pieces of eight per episode:

PLEASE NoTE CHANGES!

1. 60 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team is named Captain.

2. Name one player that will use a key in a lock seen on screen, worth 100 gold dubloons

3. Name one player that will have no confessionals, worth a token that can be traded in for one free crew change at any time in the game up to the week before the finale.

WEEK 5 POSTING NOTE-

Time to make crew changes! Each player must cut adrift 1 player from their crew. If you lost a cut adrift pirate you can replace them free first and then cut another pirate adrift. The end result is that each of you will now have 4 pirates on your crew. If you do not cut a player adrift, I will do it for ye, and ye may not like my choice

A. Please post and answer bonus questions and cut 1 of your crew adrift.

B. If changing your crew, please state in your post and say who you are replacing and what new pirate takes their place. You will be penalized 50 gold dubloons for EACH crew member changed.

C. If you lost Cheryl due to her being set adrift, you need to replace her free of charge, please state your intentions in your post.

Since Cheryl was cut adrift I would just like to keep the four I have now - but since cutting would be a blast - I choose to replace Cheryl with Joy and then cut Joy adrift

I just want to be sure I understand this question correctly before making my pick.
Are you asking only for the player who cuts off the rope to release the sabotage station or are you asking for any player who cuts off any rope during the sabotage section?

Thanks for clarifying.

So, if I thought that the sabotage is not set off by the cutting of a rope, could I pick NO ONE as my choice? I would then get doubloons if the sabotage isn't released by cutting a rope but would get no doubloons if the sabotage is released by cutting a rope whether it was shown or not.
