Round 1 is in the books, five season winners have already been eliminated, but the top sixteen seeds are still alive. Polls for Round 2 will stay open for a week, and thanks to everyone who voted in the first go-round.

How could Amber be a #2 seed? I think Ozzy is a bad player but still...At least, it gave me a chuckle to see that Russell didn't make it!

michel - The top four seeds were reserved for the most significant winners; the only two time winner, the winners of All-Star seasons, and the first winner. #5-10 went to winners with an All-Star appearance, and #11-24 went to the remaining winners.

I understand the process but Amber and Parvati have to be two of the worst winners ever.

I don't get that at all. Amber beat out four former champions and one future champ, while the only player to beat Parvati in an All Star season hasn't gotten snuffed in two seasons. Hate on their game play all you want, but they've both outlasted the best the game's seen.

It's not hate, it's facts:

Amber wouldn't even have been on A$$ if Lis and Colleen hadn't refused Burnett's invitation. Once on the show, she simply followed Rob.

Parvati is worse: She got on only because Candice refused the invite then she would have been voted out first if Fairplay hadn't quit. Jonathan and Kathleen said that Parvati would have been voted out in Airai if Penner hadn't been evacuated. Finally, Cirie would have won instead of Parvati if the producers hadn't changed from a Final 3 to a Final 2 after disqualifying James.

As added bonus, I always wondered if Amanda didn't get enough votes simply because Eliza and other jury members were aware of the "Amanda wins China" false spoiler.

Anyway, the only real games are the players' original season because returning players are more influenced by what happens at Survivor parties than on the island.
